“Stopped in with a friend for lunch around 12 and there was no waiting and plenty of seating. The food was great and my friend ordered the BBQ sandwich plate and I tried the flounder filet (see photos). Everything was good. The place was clean and all of the staff was super friendly. “Wonderful experience! Great service! Incredible food! The pupusas are only $2.25 each! Authentic and cooked fresh on the spot! I got 3, and was so full I could barely move. The cashier was kind and informative. Very patient. Some people have complained about the wait. Ignore those comments because the wait is worth it. You're getting freshly made Salvadoran food! “I was very impressed. I wasn't going to stop here because I thought it was going to take longer than I wanted to wait for my food. I'm so glad I changed my mind and went to check it out. I had to wait a few minutes but it wasn't too long and it was well worth the wait. They have some unique dishes that are wonderful. I inquired about the Irish Nachos and they gave me a sample, very good twist on an old favorite. Everything is made fresh. The burgers and fried macaroni and cheese were delicious. I have not had such a good milkshake in years. I took the picture of the shake a few minutes later and it had melted a bit so the photo doesn't do it justice. I loved the great variety of shakes there were to choose from. I asked if there they had any other restaurants. He said there is also one in Raleigh near Triangle Town Center.”

“We give it a 3 * for atmosphere, quaint. But seating was very smug. Our waitress had no personality, which surprised us because we came before the dinner crowd. I mentioned to her it was my husband's birthday. He ordered the lobster salad special, and it was a huge disappointment. I wish I took a pic, cause the serving couldn't have been smaller! She said, "you got the last special". What? I guess it was the bottom of the barrel. I ordered Halibut on bed of chickpeas and it was good. Then we ordered dessert for hubby, still hungry, and after all, it's his birthday. Maybe they will say, "happy birthday", put on a candle, give him a bigger portion to make up for lobster plate. No. Nothing said. We got our bill, and never saw our waitress again. Bill was left with hostess at front. Sorry, maybe better next time we'll have better luck.”
