“I stopped in here for lunch Saturday afternoon on the way home. The restaurant is older style but there's lots of space in the floor area and they had several arcade games along the wall that people could play and many of them were old school. It was neat to watch them cut the bread and make my sub and the bread was quite delicious. This is a very simple restaurant, but great for a quick bite to eat and a delicious sandwich. The prices are comparable with Subway, the staff was quick and friendly to deal with and the restaurant seemed fairly clean. Arabic”

“Authentic, delicious Mexican food. The chorizo came highly recommended from my El Salvadoran friend, and she was right (it’s the best I’ve ever had). They have a huge complimentary self-service condiment bar of veggies and sauces that is great too.”

“First time here... Food was good, however we ordered a whole chicken (8 pieces) to go. When we came home there were indeed 8 pieces but 1 breast was cut in half, so we had 3 breast pieces. Also, we asked if we could have only dark meat and I literally asked 4 times to make sure it's all dark meat, cause we really prefer it. Either way, felt like we didn't get a whole chicken, didn't get what we ordered, so service was under par, taste was good”

“Authentic. Don't go if you're the type of person who gets upset if your drink isn't refilled every 3 minutes. But for the price and quality of food it's gonna be 5 stars from me.”

“This place reminds me of the local hole-in-the-wall cafeteria where I could get grits, eggs a meat and bread for under $4. All the southern staples are here. No frills or "locally sourced" riff-raff. The food is good, hardy and consistent. Sue and her husband are great personable folks who seem to know how to keep the working folk fed. I like to come here before work (because they're actually open before 7 am). Definitely a good southern meat-and-potatoes joint that will fill you up to start your day right!”

“The service was excellent! Trying to exit to the left is hard due to traffic. But that's just a warning not anything bad on the establishment's part.”

“I will drive out of my way to go to Church's. The chicken is always super fresh. The service is fast here. The dining room was clean, and you get a lot of food for your coin. This last cation is a bit easier to get into and out than the one in Raleigh. The parking lot over there is crazy.”

“The fried chicken is excellent, well seasoned and crispy. The sweet potato waffle was dense and delicious. I highly recommend the food here if only it wasn't so expensive! $8 for a take out waffle and $2 per chicken tender is a bit steep for me (prices do include taxes). I think I would be back if there was a combo meal with chicken and a flavored waffle for $10.”

“We just hosted our wedding reception for around 60 people at Basera. It was an amazing experience for us with the owner, Raj. He was very professional in planning during the initial stages and executing the day itself. The place is very beautiful from inside. You don't need any ambiance decor except the table and some personalization. The food was exactly what we had ordered and was amazing. The bar was reasonable priced and not a rip-off. We had music and converted the place into dance floor with the in-house DJ for the after party. Raj was flexible with timings and lot of other things which make your life easy. Definitely recommend the place and food either for yourself or arranging for a gathering/ function/ party.”

“I know that I have posted about this location ( on 54 near southpoint ) before but it's worth another "shout out". The staff is amazing. I go there almost every day and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. The coffee is awesome and the food is fast, tasteful, and a nice inexpensive option. Especially if you have a family of little ones.”

“My name in real life is David, which in Hebrew means "beloved". But at Sushioki I am simply referred to as customer #1. Why? Because I camped out, first in line, on opening day to see if this place was going to be all that it was supposed to be. In short, it was. First (and most importantly) the food quality is amazing. I typically go with the Southern Sushi, but really you can't go wrong with any of the other selections. Interestingly (and surprisingly) enough, I've actually found the kid meal to be exemplary. My point is, if you are with child - bring said child; they will not be disappointed. Overall vibe of restaurant is upbeat and yet simultaneously chill (how is that possible? I don't know exactly, but it is).”

“Excellent food, fresh and well prepared! Delicious! Friendly and helpful service too. We called all over the area for crab legs at lunch and found this was the ONLY place! I called was pleasantly spoken to. The decor needs updating to be as nice as the food. I will definitely return because the food was great!”

“I didn't think I was a fan of deep dish style pizza, but the one we had from Bocci was absolutely first rate, recommend getting the smaller size so it is just perfect and not soggy in the middle. Sitting outside on a perfect May evening was just delightful. The dessert was also good (we had the cheesecake of the day) though a little small.”

“Great place for Lunch as the prices are competitive. Coconut cake is a step above divine (see creamy rich). There are more authentic options for Thai food in Durham but this is the best Thai lunch or family dinner option. The Thai basil stir fry plates are a personal favorite. Try the spicy chicken salad if you enjoy a little kick in the mouth-see delicious chilies. Atmosphere is warm and especially nice during the evening hours.”
