“Rented out the room for a private event. Staff was really nice. Manager was freaking out a bit because she thought we were stealing drinks (which was 100% false). When renting a room they provided wrist bands for drinks for the self pouring station. The bands kept hitting the “cap” and having to go to the bar to “unlock” them when we had 1 or 2 beers. Kinda annoying but overall good experience.”

“Nice little bar with lots of character. They have good food (especially the fries). It was not too busy, it was great for conversation and late night snacks.”

“I had a blast, I was the only white person here that night and was greeted with open arms. The bartenders were amazing and even carried my drinks outside for me. The jerk chicken was so moist and flavorful I had to share it so others could say wow! You could see the cooks in the back smiling so you knew it would be great. The open mic is entertaining and the crowd is extremely friendly. The bathroom was horrible though because someone threw up everywhere.”

“I am a big fan of this place. And especially since we are talking NY style bagels! Every location of this bagel store I have been in has always been a great experience. Locations are great, great atmosphere, fresh food and bagels and also friendly staff! Plus you can’t beat the huge selection of bagels they have. And on Mondays, you definitely don’t want to miss out...13 bagels for $8! Freaking awesome! This is a must visit if you’ve never been!!”

“Great coffee in a converted auto shop. On nice days they open the large bay doors and the entire place feels like an outdoor venue. Their coffee is delicious and like all their locations they have talented baristas. It's a great place to swing by for coffee on the way to school or work.”

“The food was good, but I only wish if they had more vegetarian options. I thought it would serve some very good milkshakes but even that was kind of okay. The quantity was good enough but I didn’t find any other veg options. So not a good option if you are a vegetarian.”

“It was good. The only down was they didn't offer to toast my wrap. The cookies are always yummy and the success they have are good variety.”

“I loved everything about my food. You have to understand that my rating has nothing to do with these sandwiches. The chicken was juicy and the sauce was amazing. They had cocktail sauce for the fries, which gave me all the life I needed at that moment. The reason I’m giving this place three stars is for the experience. My first visit, I need a minute to gather my thoughts on the menu, and put together an idea of a good first experience. The cashier/waitress rushed me and gave me these looks like it was my first day out. There were a lot of sighs as I struggled to find the sides (printed very small in a corner of the menu). I just don’t like when a service person acts like they can’t be bothered to deal with a customer. That is truly your job: customer service. If it’s beneath you, best of luck in whatever you find, but let someone who can do it do it.”

“With its location in the DUSON building, your only choice of cafe is essential this one only. They provide good quality of food from breakfast to dinner.”

“We have long been fans of Watts Grocery but we’re pretty disappointed with this recent visit. This place really needs to be more kid friendly. There are always lots of families. While the host was helpful in getting us a table to best accommodate our infant car seat it was really frustrating not to find any changing table in either of the bathrooms. There is plenty of room and there is not really any reason not to have this cheap addition. The blood orange mimosas were great, pancakes, Green Fried Tomato BLT, and Eggs Benedict were spectacular. The sausage was...very disappointing. It was dried out and looked like it was just microwaved from a premade Jimmy Dean frozen package. It is not that hard to make good sausage and they failed. I would go back but they are slipping on my list of places especially since we will have kids in diapers for the next few years.”

“You never go wrong with old school Wimpy's grill in Durham. The biscuits in the morning are big! The fatback is cooked like it should be. They have a variety for one if the oldest grills in Durham. Hamburgers in the morning if you dare!”

“Oh my goodness I love this place, The competitor's have nothing on Italian Pizzeria. The pizza is the best anywhere. I would pass a dozen dominos, Papa John's and Pizza Huts to get to buy and eat from this place. Love the prices, Quality and cleanliness of this store. Only pizza place for me ever.”

“Last week my husband unexpectedly had major surgery, and I called to order takeout/delivery from this Panera location. I had to interrupt the man taking my order a couple of times as a nurse kept interrupting me, but he was so incredibly understanding. He wished me well, and even slipped in a couple of gluten free cookies. The delivery guy was super kind as well, and he also gave his best wishes to our family. The soup was good, but it didn't compare to these two guys going out of their way to make my day a bit better, despite everything. I wish I remembered these two guys' names so I could thank them personally.”

“Diner style smashed burgers grilled nice and crispy, with fresh addons. Shoestring fries with a couple sauce options. Manager stopped by our table to make sure everything was good, and the register staff did a great job helping my daughter order her kid's meal and custard dessert. That's about the top end for quick service restaurants!”

“A quick stop at Zaxby's Chicken for dinner.i had the Zaxby's Club which was pretty good. The Cobb zalad is also pretty tasty. I also returned later for the regular chicken club sandwich and that was even better”

“The custard is pretty good, but the chocolate had a weird aftertaste. My husband's fudge brownie was delish tho. The kids loved it. It would be awesome if there was a little play area for kids on beautiful days like today.”

“I don't have the vocabulary to accurately put into words how much I love this place. The prices are extremely reasonable for the amazing (consistent) quality of food. The chicken curry, beef, (lentil or veggie) samosas and chapatis are all amazing. The owner is the most beautiful human on the planet. She'e extremely kind and remembers her costumers. She has provided nothing but the absolute best service anyone could ask for. I can't wait to go back!”

“Best breakfast!!! They make their own bagels, biscuits and donuts. The donuts are absolutely mind blowing. They have interesting flavor combos and they change regularly. They have delicious teas too. Everything is farm to table and locally sourced. Always busy, and its a line up and order kind of place. But if you sit at the bar you get service without standing in line.”

“We had Eric at Thrive Kitchen cater my dad's 80th birthday celebration, and the food was amazing! I was a little nervous, because my brother is quite the foodie, but he said the beef tenderloin was the best he's ever tasted. All the other dishes were flavorful, delicious, healthy, and cooked to perfection. It truly made the occasion so very special!!!”
