Amazing appetizers (seriously), drink specials that are actually special, great friendly service, and our entrees were delicious. She had shrimp n grits and i had grilled alligator over rice. Tasty and unique. $5 mug of beer included Sierra Nevada and New Belgium not just domestics. It was a really nice change of pace. Price is on par with other chain restaurants in the area. If nothing else, go get some drinks and appetizers.”

“This venue is absolutely gorgeous with a beautiful 80s cocktail bar inspired interior. It oozes class and decadence. The menu has a range of luxurious coffees, fine beers, wine, and wines, and also fancy cocktails. I didn't try the food but the menu (mainly sandwiches) looks great. The staff are super nice and welcoming. I recommend The Powder Room to anyone who wants a drink at a high end establishment.”

“It’s clear that the new owner was a previous Willow employee. He knew the challenges the location had and addressed them. Namely, the inside tables made conversation impossible, and he’s invested in some fantastic sound dampening. I have trouble hearing with just a little background noise, and I had no problem hearing every word from our group. I don’t have to sit outside exclusively anymore! That being said, the menu is new, interesting, and varied. I had the pomodoro pasta and meatballs and it was terrific. The pasta was clearly made in-house, and the meatballs were juicy and delicious! The service was okay, but I’m sure that will improve with time. I’m excited to have the new restaurant in the neighborhood!”

“Very cool industrial coffee shop with great drink options and beer! It’s located in the Bailey power plant park and has many food and drink places to check out. This place was packed and we were lucky to find a seat, you know that’s always sign of a good business. The service was fine and the music is chill which is great for focusing on work or just hanging out. The interior is very spacious and minimal, they could use more seating especially how packed it gets. Very sad this place is not near where we live but we enjoyed our time spent here greatly, highly recommend!”

I was pleasantly suprised when I found this food truck because I recently visited Montego Bay Jamaica and was craving real Jamaican food which is hard to find in Winston. “I visited here on 1/22/21 around 9:15pm solely to use the bathroom. The bathroom was somewhat dirty. You couldnt use the paper towels, there was tissue on the floor, and there was water bottles around the toilet. While I was leaving and taking pictures, I heard the cashier and a customer talking about the mega millions jackpot, which there is a drawing tonight and the jackpot is $1 billion! I don’t think imma win, at all... but hey, if I don’t play, I’ll 100% won’t win. I bought 5 tickets lol. They are $2 a piece. This is the first time I’ve ever played the lottery besides scratch off tickets. The location is a quick detour off the highway. The cashier was not wearing a mask, but he was behind the clear plastic screen, so I guess it makes it better ? 🤷♂️ Gas is $2.23 for regular, $2.83 for plus, and $3.03 doe V-Power Nitro”

“What a great place to come and relax. This cafe is super cute and fun! We came from Greensboro for my mothers birthday and we were met with a friendly staff and the best charcuterie brunch board. We got the full brunch board and it was so delicious. Perfect for four people. The waffles were fluffy yet crunchy and the fruit and bagels were perfect.
