“New place that is opening just in time for the change of the leaves and all the leaf peepers. The Hidden Valley Tavern has opened where the Game Keeper was located before and has kept the fabulous outdoor patio and fireplaces. New has patterns have been added to the patio along with a welcoming entrance with fall themed wreaths and hanging baskets. The restaurant serves up a new menu that for included Cesar salad (with added chicken) and the Mediterranean flat bread with sun dried tomatoes, artichoke, and cheese. The crust was thin and crispy, not soggy, and held together well with the toppings. Unsweet tea is complimented by one of the few places to serve sweet tea and Coke-Cola products. As of this writing in early October lunch is served from 11-3. As soon as other licenses are issued dinner will be served on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The current wait staff are friendly and attentive. This will be a good place to revisit to see how the menu and the ambience mature.”

“Eat Custard Cream. Be Happy…Crossroads Custards & Cold Brew is the place to go. The quality of their custards, coffee, and teas are incredible topped with the best customer service. This place will become your new favorite spot. They have a near endless option of flavors. If you like a slushy make sure you try a flavored custard mixed with the slushy. It is so refreshing and tasty. Make sure you also try their homemade waffle cones. I’m not sure what their secret is, but it is the tastiest waffle cone I’ve ever had. You can even get your pup a custard treat and they are also giving your dog a ball to take home. As for parking their is an ample amount of spaces.”

“Just opened, decided to check it out. Decided to try a michelada for the first time, it was very good and refreshing. Tried the mixed fajitas, fajita chicken nachos, and Chicken enchiladas suiza. All very good, the enchiladas suizas especially, not too many Mexican restaurants offer these. They have a large menu selection. They have an outdoor covered dining area. They are still getting setup better as they had just opened. I'm sure this place will be a hit, the original Las Margaritas is in Franklin. I'll definitely be back.”

“After trying to get a reservation online or by phone we decided to simply arrive when they opened around 4:30 pm on a Monday. We were fussed at by a very young hostess for not reserving in advance but she agreed to take our name and put us on a waiting list. No problem. We headed to the bar and ordered two martinis. It was only a half hour wait but the two cocktails cost us $17.50 each. Luckily the main entrees cost far less than the alcohol. Guy's signature burger with mac n cheese, onion rings, thick bacon and finely shredded lettuce ruined me. No burger can compare. No wonder it has won awards! The full rack of ribs smoked for 12 hours were unbelievable. That sweet tangy flavor with crusty yet tender fall off the bone meat. Perfection! Put this place on your to do list when at Harrah's in Cherokee. It's as good as Ruth Chris just a more casual menu.”
