“I went for breakfast but was late as they stopped serving by 11. That should be expected. I had breakfast sandwiches instead. I has a sausage and egg and a BLT. The ticket time was about 5 minutes max and the sandwiches were awesome. The waitress was very attentive. I had work to do and stayed an extended period of time but they never rushed me. I'll visit the next time I'm in Clayton.”

“You will NEVER be disappointed!! My husband and I are Clayton natives, and to say we are a fan of Manning's is an understatement. Everyone is incredibly friendly and welcoming. We went today for a Father's Day lunch, and I ordered the Grouper for the first time. I had asparagus with it, and with those two things together, while they were AMAZING alone, I asked if they had any garlic butter or sauce to pour on top. Not only was that request immediately taken to the kitchen, but the owner himself (Howard) came out with fresh garlic butter still in the pan to pour over my dish. Amazing food. Amazing people. Amazing service. I cannot rave enough about this local restaurant. I'll actually be back tomorrow to take my dad out for Father's Day! It's THAT awesome. Great job, Manning's!!”

“Searching for local Italian in Clayton, personally I found this to be the best (nice NY touch), though the only formal Italian place I know of in Clayton. Pizza had that fresh ingredient taste and lasagna was very delicious. Anti pasta was wonderful if you like smokey flavor, I thought it was done well - no salad, but meat and sides on it were very flavorful. The waitress was so/so as she was not attentive as she could be, but that didn't ruin my experience. Worth a trip, expect to spend around 50 large for 2 if you get a appetizer and 2 dinners + drinks. ”

“Attended a wedding here. It was super nice. The staff was helpful and kept coming back to our table to see if anything was needed and to clear off the table. The set up was great which gave us enough room for dancing. The mashed potatoes were a bit lumpy. The couple decided to do a cookie bar and the cookies were amazing. They had a selection of Italian cookies, homemade sugar and chocolate chip cookies. The chocolate chip cookies were the best out of all of them!”

“Big Cheese has some of the best pizza around for a reasonable price. Plus big cheese bread is really good also. Serves is friendly and quick. Plus they use real cheese. Since the last review the quality of the pizza has not been as good. The crust is rather burn or undercooked. The prices are good ,but not for a under or over cooked pizza. The topping also the put under the cheese. The lady who work the last time I went was sarcastic about the fact it was overcooked.”

“Look, I know anyone can read these comments and try to come up with a conclusion so I’m hoping my comment can set the appropriate bar. First off, amazing food! I have tried a good variety from there expansive menu. I haven’t had a single thing taste even remotely bad. Vegetables are fresh, rice and noodles are great, meats are cooked to order, so what more can you ask for! Second, service is good. Everyone is friendly and respectful but as a small restaurant it can be a little hectic and that’s ok. They have a lot going on. Relax and enjoy your visit. Don’t be a jerk like some of these reviewers. Lastly, the price is fair. Everything I’ve gotten has come home as another meal because the portions are amazing. Overall, fantastic place, great food, kind people. Just enjoy it.”
