“There is usually a wait but the aroma in the joint keeps you dreaming. Interesting folk around as well. While waiting for an order I had a chance to talk to some lovely gang members. Real nice guys, honestly the most decent conversation I've had in a while. Anyways, back to the restaurant. The seating is limited but most folk sitting around are for to go orders. Plus there is Bi-Lo next door so you could grocery shop while you wait.”

Prices are not cheap, but not expensive either for the quality of the experience at Waldhorn. We will always come back here! Chicken salad on a croissant is so good. Also the authentic potato pancakes with applesauce are a must. German potato salad is perfect!”

“This maybe an unpopular review but it wasn't what I expected. This place is located in Carolina Place Mall so it may not have the same items in the build your own section. It was literally a very small selection from the build your own bar. The chicken was not very good in comparison to some similar places. I will give the larger store a try because this establishment is very popular. The staff were very friendly and attentive.”

The menu was plentiful, but we were a bit disappointed that dishes all came with French fries as opposed to rice beans etc. We settled on sandwiches since that made sense with fries, and were then Told they were out of fries ten minutes later. Lol. The steak and the Cuban sandwiches were AMAZING. The flavor was ridiculously good. We will be back just for that!”

“Not coming back on a Saturday night ever lol. This place was very packed. The games were crowded but not over crowded. The dining area was absolutely pack. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of one is because we were told we're going to have a 30 minute wait and it was exactly that. The service was decent and the food was quick. It would have been a better experience on a weekday if it were less crowded. However they were staffed to accommodate.”

“The bartender, Lisa, was so awesome. I sat by the rudest, most demanding lady who complained about absolutely everything on a busy Saturday night. Lisa was extremely professional and patient with her (while still efficiently taking care of me and several other guests). I didn't catch the name of the dark-haired bartender with glasses, but she was great too. I will definitely come back and request to sit at the bar just to be served by them. Their hard work and professionalism is greatly appreciated!”

Especially when I ask if EVERYTHING is in the bag before leaving the window. I usually double check, but when ordering for 3-4 people, it can be a lot. “This place is amazing. The food is some of the best Italian I've had in my life. Both my wife and I left the restaurant stuffed to the brim. We ordered the meatball appetizer, lasagna main course, and brownie desert. For just the two of us, this was more food than we can handle. The wait was reasonable. The only downside was our table was toppling over, literally. We had to step on the legs to prevent it from doing so. Service was fantastic and the atmosphere was very nice. The place is pricey, but we knew that going in. Would recommend it for big groups.”
