This place was recommended by a family member and did not disappoint! Artisan cocktails and a wide selection of beers. I tried a cocktail called “the Reaper’s Embrace” a bourbon, brown sugar & cinnamon concoction that was like a taste of fall- yummy! We also indulged In a barbecue burger with bacon, blueberries and blue cheese- delicious! A chicken wrap, an apple jalapeño grilled cheese sandwich and some okra tempura- it was all perfectly and inventively prepared comfort food that makes you want to keep coming back.
So good! The ambiance is funky and edgy, but so cozy. The food was incredible! My boyfriend got the hot garlic parm wings, and loved them. He also got a sparkling lemonade that he raves about still. I got the cheeseburger and the sour beer! The sour beer was more tart than I’m used to, but still good, and the cheeseburger is one of the best I’ve had in the area 🙌 team was friendly!
Burial is my fave NC beer! This is a cool spot. Love the speaker displayed at the bar. There a rooftop that’s nice but it get rented out for special events so we moved downstairs. Highly recommend this spot!!
Came here on Friday lunch time. It wasn't busy so it was very pleasant. The place is very cool and stylish and the bathrooms are very chic in black and gold. They were very clean. They have a outdoor patio and a deck but it was too hot to be outside. They have a good truck outside in the back and we ordered a couple of beers a cheeseburger with truffle fries and a vegan burger with salad and everything was simple yet very good.
You have to order everything at the bar and then go get the food when it's ready.
We have been drinking Burial beers for years now and we are rarely disappointed but we've never been to a taproom and we were happy with it.
Connected to the taproom there is a small store selling their beers, merch, glasses etc...
The parking is limited and very narrow so I'm not sure how hard it is to find parking in busier hours.
Too bad we don't live here because I saw ourselves becoming regulars. Looking forward to the Burial Beer in Asheville!
Love Burial Beer Co. in Charlotte NC. We love going to local places in our neighborhood and they have the most geeky selection of beers with the best names and they food and alcohol. I love the space, indoors it’s super industrial and they have a beautiful back deck along with the deck upstairs. The staff is super friendly also! Very accommodating, swift and helpful! Can’t wait to go back!!!!
