“It was an interesting atmosphere of adults of different ages, they play all kinds of music. Was an electric atmosphere everyone was have a good time. It was just the parking, I don't know why I will be paying for parking and when I was about leaving there was no one watching the car, what if?. Maybe there were some street parking around which I didn't see any.”

“I’ve seen this food truck on Arrowood & Tryon several times, something told me to stop & check it out tonight. I’m very picky when it comes to food but BOCADOS didn’t disappoint. The empanadas were amazing. They were fresh and full of flavor. I will be back again to try the PEPITOS.”

“I’ve been in Charlotte for several years now and it’s been a major struggle to find GOOD comida Latina! Coming from Miami, nothing really impresses me about the Latin food scene in Charlotte. This restaurant was a breath of fresh air from the attention to detail, to the atmosphere, to the amazing and delicious food! Also they’re not like the majority of the “Latin” restaurants in Charlotte that are way overpriced! I knew they were the real deal when I asked what type of fish they serve and she said “Corvina” ❤️ That’s a sign of an experienced restaurant staff that knows quality! The Corvina was magnificent! Their Carne Asada was incredibly tasty as well and my favorite thing on the menu is the lentejas! I love lentejas! We will absolutely come back to this restaurant without a doubt!”

“It was the first time I ate here with my friends. The environment of this restaurant is very good, very clean and tidy. The most important thing is that the taste is great and the service is very considerate. I will come back again.”

“I’m late with my review, but the food and service leaves a lasting impression! We visited this amazing establishment in early August for a Birthday celebration. From the time we entered the restaurant, up until the time we left we thoroughly enjoyed the food, service and the over all atmosphere. Our server offered great suggestions (baked wings an MUST)and she was VERY attentive to our party! One of the owners Mac was also so very nice and made our overall experience enjoyable. The African art work was also AMAZING! We can’t wait to return!”

“The wings are the best thing we tried. The corn dogs were still a little under cooked in the center. Which resulted in a doughy texture and taste that was undesirable to us. The fries were a little soggy, and the egg sandwich was a little greasy. Also, multiple employees from the kitchen came from the back and went to the restroom with their aprons on and went back to the kitchen. I was not a fan of seeing that multiple times.”

“I discovered a gelato shop that offers a delightful selection of quirky and unique flavors that I hadn't seen elsewhere, such as pistachio lemon curd and rose balsamic. One flavor combination we tried was lemon pistachio, which was definitely unique. However, I found the texture of the gelato to be slightly grainy and lighter than I prefer. Personally, I enjoy a creamier and denser texture in gelato. On the bright side, they also had chocolates available, which I absolutely loved. The chocolates were a perfect balance of softness and crunchiness, with a well-rounded sweetness and flavor. If you're someone who enjoys exploring unique flavors in desserts, this place is definitely worth a visit.”

“Food was good, service was not so much. My family and I sat for 35 minutes before we received our appetizers. Their concept of a traditional order form does not support all-you-can-eat. You get one form and you order all of your food at once. If you want to order more, you have to flag your wait staff down and wait to get a new form. FYI: make sure to double check your check to ensure they don’t charge children as adults like they tried to do with us. Also, any party over 5 guests, it’s an automatic 18% gratuity added. Aside from that, trendy and cozy atmosphere with ample parking.”

“Very good! We enjoyed eating here at this restaurant in New Orleans, and were excited about this location opening in Charlotte. At this visit, I tried the Creamy Vanilla Spiced Latte and the Bananas Foster French Toast. I enjoyed the French Toast but was disappointed with the latte, and irritated the cup wasn’t filled. My partner had the Three Little Pigs omelette, with a biscuit and tater tots (instead of grits). The omelette was delicious and we would likely have it again. Staff was friendly and prompt and we look forward to returning and trying more from the menu in the future.”

“The customer service was great. They answered any and all our questions we had. The blue go kart track was fun. The prices were very reasonable. They have lots of activities such as go-karts, bowling, axe throwing, arcades, vr gaming and eating. We plan to visit again in the future.”

“Enat was the last place I tried at Optimist Hall and it ended up being one of my favorite options. It’s one of the few places in OH that will give you an actual plate to mimic an in-restaurant experience. The Samusa appetizer is fantastic. It’s loaded with filling (beef in our case) and crispy, not greasy, on the outside. The Classic Tibs and Derek Tibs are worth a try every time. The DT is the fried option and the Beef Rib Eye bites are crisp and juicy. We’ve tried most sides and the Ater (Yellow Stew), Miser (Red Stew) and Fosolia (Green Beans and Carrots). The Injera is made fresh daily and spongy as you’d expect to soak up the food. Food comes out quickly for OH, usually 5-10 minutes for fresh cooked food. Service is good and remember to return the plates. As is three new normal, parking is only free for 90 minutes at OH. If you’re planning on shopping or hanging out for a beer after a meal, you’ll have to pay. Overall though, Enat is very good. There aren’t many true, authentic Ethiopian restaurants in Charlotte so be sure to check this place out.”

“Wow! Such an amazing restaurant and service! Rodrigo was amazing. He explained all the Peruvian goodness in the menu one by one and was always available whenever we needed him. Food tastes amazing. Portions are very generous. Prices are great! Also, the bakery part next to it has the freshest cakes!! My friends and I left very happy. Will definitely be back!”

“Made reservations for dinner here. For the price, we were expecting a great experience, but everything was just okay. The service was good. It wasn't anything that stood out. Our server didn't offer any recommendations or extra insights to the menu as we let her know this was our first time here. We were made aware of some specials by the server who waited on the party next to us. He was extremely informative and enthusiastic! The food was pretty, but the taste was just okay. I would recommend some of the tacos, but that's about it. The Mexican corn was not good. The skirt steak was cooked beautifully but needed flavor, and the churros were definitely not it! I think they set a while before getting to us because when we got them, they were not hot and really greasy. The mango margarita was underwhelming as well. Overall, it was just okay. We spent $130 for 2 people, and I would personally expect a better dining experience.”

“Hellenic is a real gift to the Charlotte food scene. I was thoroughly impressed by the friendly and welcoming service, atmosphere, and food. The entire time I was there I couldn’t help but think how fresh each dish was and kept telling everyone at my table we have to come back again soon, which we absolutely will. This place is like a love letter to Greek and Mediterranean cuisine”

“Great addition to Charlotte area! The food was exquisite, right size and fair price. Service was great as well. I recommend this place for Colombian food and Latin cuisine.”
