I’ve visited the Durham location many times over the years and am a big fan, so I was thrilled to discover their new Carrboro location closer to my house. Not sure when it opened, but I discovered it right around the time we started the COVID19 shelter in place order. I’ve picked up numerous curbside orders and it’s been great. Same delicious food, super easy online ordering, convenient pick up, and super friendly and gracious staff. Looking forward to being able to dine inside in the future!

Just like the Durham location—excellent food, vibrant experience, and friendly staff. We will eat here all the time. This will be a favorite in Carrboro/Chapel Hill I believe. Order a ‘Patacon Pisao’ and enjoy — toasted green plantain slices sandwiching whatever meat (or jackfruit) you choose, with an amazing sauce. Add the Luna Lava in-house picante sauce to top it off. Best sides are the Kale (healthy) or the Madurai (sweet—fried plantains).
