“This is my go to place for my taco and burrito fix. Their Al Pastor is delicious! I also like their Carne Asada and Chicken. Their authentic Mexican street tacos are delicious. I usually get 5 or 6. The staff is very friendly and the food is consistently great! I am at La Unica Estrella about once a week.”

“Fussy teenagers need options on hot summer days. We found plenty of them at the Pelican's Snowballs location here in Waxhaw! It was a 90 degree day, and we were looking forward to cooling off. The flavors were all delightful, and even the surrounding high school flavors were represented! Per our pics, we had our flavors, and recommend experimenting with the menu. Under $20 with tip for group of four was a win to boot👢”

“The owner, Vera, is very nice. She came around to each table to thank us for coming. The food and service were both good. Food arrived expeditiously. I tried the hamburger steak w/ gravy & onions, fried okra and mac and cheese. The hamburger steak and okra were excellent. However, the mac and cheese could use some seasoning as it was kind of bland. Overall, I’d recommend giving it a try. I will be making a return trip to try their other various items.”
