“Great addition to this area of Raleigh! I ordered three Arepas and I really can't decide which one was the best. The shredded beef was cooked to perfection so if I had to choose I would go with the Carne Desmechada. The combination of ingredients in the Mi Paisita was also delicious, especially if you like sweet plantains! These are probably the best arepas I've had in the triangle- very authentic! The spicy cilantro sauce is a perfect addition to all of them. Definitely looking forward to my next visit and trying the Tres Leches. I saw it and can't stop thinking about it!”

“I’m not a big fan of sandwich shops unless they use high quality/fresh ingredients. I don’t go to any of those chain ones, can’t stand them. I decided to try this place out after seeing it on FB and thought it looked pretty good and I was not disappointed! Loved everything about this place. The location..it’s in a cute shopping center that looks like a little village, never seen anything like it. The employees were friendly & energetic. The sandwiches were delicious! Bread tasted like it came straight from a bakery. Really good meats. Fresh veggies. Delicious spreads. I just wish they were a bit closer, I live 25 min away but I’d say it’s worth the drive and I’ll definitely stop by again :)”

“1st visit. Visited during lunch time. Staff was friendly and attentive. You will receive a sample flight of their various most popular Gumbos and Rice dishes. I ordered Gumbo and Fried shrimp. Both dishes were very good and tasty. After receiving my shrimp one of the staff actually came over to the table and asked if she could take them back because they looked slightly overcooked. She was correct and they brought me a fresh dish of shrimp which I very much appreciated. The manager also came by to check on me. They get a A for effort on that alone. Overall experience was good. I'll definitely be going back. I travel to New Orleans on business so I need a place to satisfy my urges and desires for Cajun and creole dishes. Worth checking them out.”

“Very good! Everything on the menu is gluten free, not any easy task. The pita bread and flat breads are gluten free and actually very tasty! Not the usual cardboard box or crumbly mess other restaurants offer. This bread was very soft and tasted nice. They offer dairy free, egg free, soy free and nut free. We sampled the cheese appetizer. A mix of salty cheese with zesty orange was unique and appetizing. They offer vegetable nibbles, tasty and nutritious. This not a vegetarian place, they DO have non vegetarian proteins on the menu. There is also a kids menu. Something for everyone! Outdoor seating. Perfect place for those on restricted diets, (our dessert was sugar free and delicious), vegetarians and anyone wanting to eat healthy. “This was our third visit to Simply Crepes in north Raleigh and, once again, we were not disappointed. We were 29 friends strong and everyone exclaimed about how much they enjoyed their meal. I had the Rugby, an Angus steak crepe with Russian dressing, lettuce, cheese pickles and onions. Delicious! A friend had the simply strawberry crapes with fresh cut strawberries and whipped cream. “I have been getting pounds of Tookie's Pimento Cheese at the Veterinarian Clinic I worked at. I was absolutely addicted to the stuff. I often stop by to grab a plate or a tub to take home. The place is small and humble, but the quality it top notch. They also have Chicken Salad and a variety of side. I do not partake of the meat, but my friends often get the Chicken Salad and seem to enjoy it. I will continue to support this business and I hope you have the opportunity to try some for yourself.”

“I was hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but am so glad we went anyways. It was amazing, the sushi was awesome. I much prefer this to orchid. All the sushi was really good, some of them didn’t have a huge amount of stuff on them but flavor was really good. Also being able to order hibachi and appetizers, all for 14.99 - can’t beat it. We have two kids under 6 who will only be 5.99, such a great deal.”
