“Carmen’s is a must-go. Service was more than excellent. I was from out of town and one of the guys accommodated me by telling me the best items on the menu. I chose up the pulled pork and it was the best pulled pork I’d ever had! Meat so succulent! It was so good I ordered another one! Absolutely must go!”

“Take it from a local guide, this is the best quick bite of Chinese you will get around the area. The staff is very friendly and they greet you in traditional Chinese way. The mixed vegetable curry is a must eat with authentic taste. When in Peng's order a pot of Chinese tea; this will last your entire meal and is rejuvenating and appetizing. I have tried both steamed and fried dumplings and both were up to the mark. Another recommendation would be the Singaporean noodles.”

“They regularly run out of items, and the majority of the time it seems like there is only one person working each station. I would guess they are trying to run the place using as few people as possible. The service is good but the workers just seem to be stretched too thin. Besides that it is a Wendy's. The fries have been cold a few times but is typically ok.”

“We stopped in on our way back home from dropping our son off at the airport. The staff was very friendly, great food and fast service. Everyone was laughing and having a great time while working. Great experience!”

“Service was very good. Chile Verde was okay to good. Came out nice and hot, good serving of pork. Flavor could have been a bit better. 28oz beer was a good surprise. Good thing I walked from the hotel(s) which are across the street.”

“I recently became an Uber driver. My second trip was to the airport .I wasn't familiar with the area because I live an hour away. My cell phone died and low and behold the charger I had didn't work for some crazy odd reason. I was lost and pulled into Sheetz. The line was extremely long because of Hurricane Flo but I told the woman my delima. I don't know if she was the manager but she took my cell and charged it for me. After nearly 20 minutes I got my phone back and she said she was getting off and would lead me back to the highway to get home. She went above and beyond her job duties for someone she didn't even know. I just want to let her know that she is appreciated! Thank you again very much. Sheetz is lucky to have you.”

“Good quality pizza! Loved the hint of garlic in the sauce. Much more tasty than any chain pizza place. Service is good and they have pizza by the slice on weekdays. You can tell they really care about making good quality food. The staff was really freindly as well. They also deliver within the local area.”

“Very good food. Like others have said, the storefront is not an accurate portrayal of the food inside. Only open for 6 months and is still trying to staff the place, the patience you bring will be rewarded. I hope it sticks around.”

“I don't think I'll order here again. I ordered online. It is located behind a gas station. When I arrived there was a piece of paper taped to the door stating 'cash only'. I guess the system was down. Thankfully I had paid online. But what I didn't like was the service. I approached the counter and told the employee my name. He simply passed me the food and looked away. No thank you, goodbye, or have a nice day. Good customer service can't be stressed enough.”

“We were in town visiting and based on the reviews I wasn’t expecting much. To my surprise the service and food were awesome! Steak =perfect ribs=perfect Shrimp =perfect! Our waitress was so attentive and kind. My only complaint is that the place has a bar and the drinks are really bad. But food and service are on point!”

“My husband loves this place because it is great pig and has lots of authentic character. As in the NC tradition, they are closed on Sundays. You seat yourself and it is counter service. The chopped comes undressed, so you can put the sauce of your choice on. They do have a Western NC style sauce in addition to an Eastern one, so they can please any NC palate. The sides are pretty standard. The fries are good, but the mac and cheese is mediocre. But no one is coming for the sides! The pig is boss, and we go back whenever we can.”

“Servers were nice! Food was great. Manager seemed like he hated his job and life! Had a few issues that were taken care of. Alcoholic Mixed drinks are water! Just warning y'all! Will not be visiting this location again.”

“Generous portions, great value. The people out the door for less than $40 (including generous tip) with lots of leftovers. Service was great; very prompt, friendly, always on top of refills, and no pressure to get out even though it was a very busy time. I've always liked Cracker Barrel. I didn't know there was one this close, and I'll definitely be back, would definitely consider coming for family events.”

“Being near the house, consistent in good quality and service, this has become a regular go to. Nothing stands out as amazing, but everything we have ordered in the last 8-10 visits has been very good. The atmosphere is nice with the outdoor section, which is a three season area with heaters: nice in the fall. No beers on tap but a decent wine and bottle list. Highly recommend over the other nearby restaurants which are primarily chains.”

“Good chicken. Prices are fair. Sides are good and enough selection to not get bored with just fries. People friendly. Seating area clean. Nice place for quick lunch.”

“We went for Lunch buffet. Wanted to try different places. This place was nice and cozy. Great ambience. Good food. Highly recommend to try it out! Clean and well maintained. We tried different dosas as part of the lunch buffet, taste was good.”

“Such delicious food! We went on a busy Sunday afternoon, and couldn't have been happier. The dim sum selection was broad, very fresh, and oh so tasty! This is the first restaurant I've found in NC where the dim sum rivals that found in San Francisco's Chinatown. The staff were all very nice and helpful. The decor isn't fancy, but who cares when you have dish after dish of tantalizing dim sum to eat! The restaurant is 90 minutes from our home, but I consider it worth the trip. We'll definitely go back.”

“I had a wonderful, rainy day breakfast here with my daughter. Great memories and food. Check out the menu item with spinach and grilled chicken. It's delicious! Sorry, no pics. I simply savored the opportunity to spend time with one of my children and eat great food. Oh, and the ladies who were serving us were friendly and one in particular was very bubbly, (I'm sure you'll figure out which one when you go). She was super sweet and showed genuine concern that we were enjoying our food and experience.”

“I have shunned away from reviews and ratings, but in the case of G58 that is impossible. This restaurant is exquisite in all aspects! Our Thursday visit guaranteed further returns and excellent recommendations to our friends. Make your reservation as soon as possible to guarantee a splendid evening of the most incredible entrees presented perfectly.”

“It's really busy but they do a good job of keeping up with the weekday lunch hours demand. The food has been good all the times I've been here. No complaints there. The person at the register can use a bit more pleasantness in her voice though. Photo - red curry chicken bowl”

“Food was tasty, not too much heat but lots of flavors. We had the dinner portions of a couple different dishes and all of them were at least good. Okra was good but the mutter paneer was really saucy and more like soup. The rice was dry and stale. The service was really great. The guy that helped us was knowledgeable and offered suggestions of what breads would go best with our dinner meals. I found the ambiance was lacking and really the reason the rating isn't higher. Since it looked like they probably do the majority of business with their lunch buffet, maybe we were there at an off time (6pm)? There was no music and the place was oddly silent. The place felt dark with only the fluorescent lights on since the track lighting and chandeliers were off. One of the tables had been taken over by stacks of papers and looked like a complete mess. Not something I want to be looking at while eating my $20 dinner in the silent dark. Overall, it was fine. could be great with a little work.”

“Nothing special with the chicken bowl. Just some rice with chicken onions and sauce thrown over it. I had to add soy sauce for more flavoring. The dumplings (Gyoza) were very good though. Best ones I've had this far.”

“Small spot with a great selection of tacos and taco bowls. Excited to try their breakfast tacos. Friendly staff. Offers coffee, soft drinks, water, tea, and smoothies for drinks. A fun variety of coffees, next on my list to try. You fill out a laminated "register" and they make it. Quick and easy! The tacos are not the best I've had, but not bad in a pinch. A little on the pricey side. The avocado and sour cream is extra, but includes a decent amount of salsa. The chipotle and tomatillo salsas are incredible! Not too spicy, lots of flavor. I'll have to try their bowls next.”

“I love the Brunch Box... this place is perfect for any type of lunch sandwich your heart desires... and their evening menu (which is new) is great as well, specifically the jalapeno cheddar pretzel! The staff is always prompt and nice... always a 5 star visit”

“I haven't had a better night out in a very long time! The bartender was constantly attentive, the company was hilarious and the vibe was great. Over the years I have met some amazing people here, some of whom have gone on to be some of my best friends. There is no single bar I would ever chose over Desy's - the place is a gemstone! I really do believe it's the best bar in North Carolina. It's the staff, the owner and the people who come in that make it such a special place. Also, let me just mention the incredible, homely food. The burgers are a massive favourite of mine and my wife. Please go and see all this for yourself!”

“I should've taken photos, the food was beautiful. Fresh ingredients, the vegetables and fruits were delicious and made everything taste that much better. I had the pick 4 with jalapeno hummus, garlic chicken salad, pomegranate salad, and couscous. Topped off with their pita bread and delicious pistachio baklava, I could not have asked for a tastier, more fulfilling meal that didn't make be feel guilty or weighed down afterward”

“Excellent Mexican "street food". Nice choice of meats on the tacos (I think there are 7 or 8 kinds, I tried 4 different ones that were great - asada, pastor, lengua and barbacoa I believe. The meats are cooked well but not seasoned much (the pastor was different as it is marinated pork) - the toppings, however are fresh and really pop. I asked for mine with everything, and they had a nice mix of (I think) onion, cilantro and jalapeno. On the side were a couple of grilled (mild/sweet) peppers, grilled onions, lime wedges and both red and green salsas that were quite flavorful. The tacos are around $2 each and 4 of them stuffed me. Will deinitely return to try more things!”

“The place is a hole in the wall with limited seating. Yet, the food is off the chain and the flavors are incredible. I would recommend the spicy hot fried fish and yes you will feel the burn. I suggest eating inside if there is seating. Yet, take away orders will not ley you down either. This is my favorite place when I must have Asian food. Promise that you will not hate food.”
