The best cheese pizza I have found in the Triangle. Have tried pizza in many places, but this is the best because it tastes like the pizza I had when I lived in the NY metropolitan area.
Terrific sauce, cheese, herbs and the crust is perfect, just crispy enough without being too thin. Love it.
Other food is good too, but the pizza is why we go there.
Lubrano's is hands down my favorite Italian place in Morrisville. They always provide amazing food and the servers are also very friendly. Once, my order was mixed up due to new system and they delivered the corrected order very quickly. I simply called in and said I think something happened with my order and immediately it was corrected. Hands down, best Italian place around.
Moved to the area about 3 years ago and have driven past it all the time and never noticed there was an Italian restaurant there. Found an advertisement in one of the free things that come in the mail and we decided to try it.
We were a party of six on an apparently slow night (Thursday). Service was great and they were very helpful with one person in our party that has a severe allergy.
We don't like fancy Italian food. No sundried tomato this or that, we like "normal" Italian food. One person in our party is only second generation from Italy. Simple dishes are what we all like and they definitely delivered. Every entree that we got was excellent. The best Italian that we have had in a long time. Chicken parm was nice and thin as it should be and extremely flavorful. Lasagna was excellent as well.
Our only complaint would have been the garlic knots. We thought the dough was a little tough.
Definitely a family friendly place! We hit up lubranos around every 2 weeks, depending on schedules. The garlic knots are spot on, the food is great, and you can't knock the service. You will find the wait staff to be friendly and courteous while also ready to help address an issue or sit and talk with a friendly smile. And the owner/cook is always willing to talk or fix an issue if something comes up. Good enough to make a 30 minute trip on a Saturday night.
