“I love the donuts but this location was a bit of a let down today. They were busy but only 1 employee was running the register and helping customers. She was visibly stressed and asked for help from co workers and got none. The donuts that were not hot and fresh looked old, the frosting was cracking showing their age.”

The Pharmacy Cafe

Address: 702 North Person, Raleigh, NC 27604, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“This is a quaint little cafe that's menu is full of great choices. We got the roasted turkey sandwich and Aloha bowl. They were both made fresh and tasted phenomenal. I can't write in words enough to describe how great they both tasted. It's one of those things you need to experience if you enjoy a great meal. I left wishing I had a food blog to rave about how wonderful the experience of eating there was for us. They also make the root beer fresh. If you're a fan of root beer then you have to go. I'll be returning to try more of the menu and can't wait to see what the root beer float has in store for my taste buds.”

“Had a great lunch here, prices where reasonable, lots of veggies on the menu, and great food. Overall marbles cafe sets a high bar for museum cafe fare. Plaza Cafe

Address: 411 Fayetteville St #109, Raleigh, NC 27601, USA

Cafe Meal takeaway Restaurant

“I and my extended family (3 generations) were staying at the Raleigh Sheraton and needed a place nearby for a quick breakfast. We walked out the door of the hotel & found ourselves facing the Plaza Cafe. This wasn't on our radar, but something drew me to the place. Over the next 2 hours, Darvheel (I apologize for the misspelling) and his staff treated our wave after wave of diners like family. From the 18-month old up to the 80-somethings, we all ate our fill & thoroughly enjoyed it all. I loved the Meat Lovers' Omelet, but drooled over my aunt's choice of the Sizzling Combo. The kids loved their eggs & pancakes, but enjoyed the muffins even more. The location is perfect and the owners/staff are even better than the food. I strongly recommend this place. We'll be back for breakfast tomorrow, too!”

“I'm astonished by the amount of food you get for the price.I had the chicken curry sandwich with couscous and chickpea salad and I really enjoyed it. The place was cozy and the owner was very friendly. My only complaint is it is a small restaurant so sound does travel so if you want to go eat somewhere quiet I would not suggest this place.”

McDonald's

Address: 105 E South St, Raleigh, NC 27602, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“All you can get - typical McDonald’s experience. Great location - in the center of City Raleigh. If you ever want a morning coffee or afternoon sweets, this is the closest place you can go to. The reason only gave it a three star is because the well being the environment. For the visits we had, we saw flies roaming around tables and the trash collector is so stuffed that it could take anything else. Associates are very friendly and orders get moved very fast. Come and experience yourself!”

Biscuitville

Address: 2426 Wake Forest Rd, Raleigh, NC 27608, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“My partner and I come here every Sunday for breakfast and are never disappointed. Seriously the best biscuits money can buy, and my Sausage, egg, and Cheese biscuit always taste like I legitimately made it at my house. TIP: You can buy “day old” biscuits in a bag of 6, but they aren’t always day-old since they must have the item available for purchase— they’re just a few hours old and warm up perfectly.”

McDonald's

Address: 2801 Old Wake Forest Rd, Raleigh, NC 27609, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“Our food was given to us in a timely manner and was good. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because they were understaffed. There was a woman who ordered 125 biscuits and a line of people who were fussing about not getting their food right away, but that’s what happens when you order 125 biscuits with only 2 employees and a manager. They are doing the best they can with what was thrown at them.”

Night Kitchen Bakehouse & Cafe

Address: 10 W Franklin St Suite #140, Raleigh, NC 27604, USA

“My favorite patisserie in Raleigh, and I try every one I find. Limited selection, but everything is fresh and made with high quality ingredients, and the offerings change frequently. I noticed pricing complaints in some of the reviews, but I get a sandwich, coffee, and pastry every visit for under $15. Breads are excellent.”

“A classic lunch counter diner. I had a BLT that was packed with bacon and tomato. It was absolutely delicious. But the best thing about the place, their cakes. They're tall, dense and outrageously good. I would go back just for a slice of cake”
