“I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Walking in the door we were greeted right away, our server was AMAZING and gave the BEST recommendations for our drinks and food. Our server was so sweet and we never needed to ask for anything. The atmosphere, food, drink selections are hands down the BEST place in Boone. We were so impressed we spoke with the Owner, he was such a genuine man to speak with. If you are in Boone this is a MUST place to visit.”

Sometimes I will sit there for five minutes until the staff notices me or I just give up and walk inside.”

“Average all the way around. Food was the high quality you would expect from IHOP. Waiter was not professionally dressed and was not detailed on taking the order. His mistake of getting an omelette wrong caused a 20 minute wait. On scale of 1-10, service was at best a 5. The food was an 8. Not enough to offset the average service.”

“We passed this diner on our way to the hotel after a long day on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We asked the guy at the hotel about this place and he said he eats there regularly. We were not disappointed with the recommendation. The food was delicious, home cooked food that wasn't expensive served by a very friendly and efficient guy. If I lived here I'd visit regularly. Much better than going to a restaurant chain as there was a personal touch and a homely feel. The milkshakes are amazing as were the dill pickle chips. The home made meatloaf and gravy was delicious. A brilliant experience set in a 1950s style diner. My best dining experience I've had in the USA.”
