“Wow! Just spending Thanksgiving weekend in town and was suggested to try this place. So many things on the menu it was hard to decide! Got the Red Curry, Togarashi Tots, garlic Parm wings, and pork egg rolls. All were amazing! The Red Curry was just right not too spicy or salty. The egg rolls were very crunchy and savory and the Togarashi Tots - wow what a surprising flavor. The food hall setting is also really cool, reminds me of the Urbanspace ones in NYC. Will definitely try more things off the menu like Vietnamese Noodle salad or Pho next time!”

“Kosher BBQ restaurant with a wide variety of offerings for meat eaters, yet there are a few choices for vegetarian too. Make sure you call ahead for reservations. The restaurant fills quickly. We had no reservations, but there is a small counter area where we were able to sit. The food and service is excellent!! For vegans. I strongly recommend the Portobello Mushroom Sandwich with Fries...this literally melted in my mouth, and was served with fries. The coleslaw was freshly made, absolutely delicious. We definitely are returning, can't wait to have the chocolate lava cake for dessert again!”

“My husband and I absolutely loved our experience at 1899. We met the owner, Brian, who is such a great guy. He showed us around and we were in awe at the golf simulation area, the members only area, 2 bars, all the details and the decor. I imagine visiting often and telling friends about it as well. We decided not to golf, but we had dinner and drinks instead. We sat at the bar where the bartender, Christian, took great care of us. He was pretty busy making orders for customers seated at tables but he made time to check on us, have small conversations, make our drinks and take our meal order. My husband had a cocktail called Vesper. It was strong but had a good taste. I had a custom cocktail made by Christian that was so tasty I had to have two. I had chips & queso and a Caesar salad which were both very good. My husband had the Seared sea scallops and thought the scallops were a little too seared on top and too soft at the bottom. “Pretty standard sports bar atmosphere. The food was interesting. My friend and I came here on a Saturday night, and it was pretty packed, which we probably should have expected. We shared the chips and dips appetizer. I got the oxtail tacos, and my friend tried the pig face tacos. Her tacos looked a lot more traditional than mine. The oxtail tacos had tortilla shells that tasted deep fried, and they came with a liquid that I assumed I was supposed to dip them in. Everything was pretty greasy, but the flavor was decent.”

“What a great atmosphere for the family and I to enjoy a nice meal. The service was great, the complimentary self-service cold water was very enjoyable as was the environment. Everything was very clean and the food was enjoyable. I especially appreciate they they use grass fed-beef for their burgers. I ordered the hot Nashville chicken sandwich, which was about an 4 out of 5 stars and my children really enjoyed the burgers and shake. I also got the loaded fries which were enjoyable. This is a great summer spot and I even enjoyed that they had the Moana movie playing in the dining room for the the younger ones. I truly believe this place gets better every time I go. 😃”

“September 2021: Pros: * Unique menu of draft beers and hard ciders. * Good social venue to meet with friends and grab a little something to drink. * There is a large, "dope" (slang for awesome) mural hanging behind the bar. Cons: * No food options...only drinks. Not sure if I could buy food and bring inside. Rules were not made clear to me.”

“Recently, I hosted a happy hour for clients and contacts at Garden City. On my way to the event, in true Cleveland weather form, it started raining. It did not matter one bit. 15 guests attended and all 15 commented on the cool layout of the place. Even though the rooftop wasn’t open, the awesome custom cocktails, amazing service, and the breezy feel of the venue more than made up for it. Rain or shine, this place is fantastic!”

“Picnic Hill is a great place, all the way around! Go in and chat with the owners, Michael and Shawn, and you’ll see why they only serve the best drinks and the best food. And it’s a market too - wine, beer, cheese, tuna salad, select seasonal produce, etc. Want a special thing you don’t see, just ask and they’ll see if they can get it for you. Great addition to the neighborhood!”

“This place is great. Came here on the recommendation of a friend and cause we knew the chef was a rock star from previous restaurant. Nice ambiance, food was very impressive. We had multiple appetizers and entree's. The Hominy appetizer is the best use of Hominy I've ever come across. The bacon pizza was great, but the casarecce was out of this world. Also the cocktails were great, make sure if Derek is working the bar you ask for his drink suggestions.”
