Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern

I appreciate the fact that they offer a variety of gluten free items. I usually do not have any problems. My last visit was just okay. My burger was not cooked as desired. I was offered to throw back on grill, but I had eaten the toppings off while I waited. That concerned me..how many other people have eaten some food then put back on grill. I declined. I was offered another burger, but then my friends would have all been done with their meals as I ate. I did have some issues later so I believe I may have experienced some cross contamination with this visit. I will likely try them again, but hestitantly.

My experience was so good here I had to write about it. Our server promptly greeted us when we sat down, didn't have to wait 10 minutes to order a drink, like everywhere else I feel like these days. She was friendly, warm, energetic, positive. When our food came out, it came out correctly (extra sauces, cheeses etc), it seems rare to me these days for your order to come correctly. I was at another restaurant recently where they just brought out the completely wrong thing and didn't even notice!

Not to mention that the food came out hot, and fresh. My buffalo chicken sandwich was hot, crispy, juicy. You could tell it hadn't been sitting under the heat lamp for 10 minutes like every other restaurant these days as well. What an enjoyable experience, wow! Can't wait to come back often! 5 stars all day.

My 9 year old granddaughter and I had lunch here. She had her usual macaroni and cheese and fries (I think she lives on Mac and cheese) I had a salmon salad. Prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is comfortable and warm. Services was good.They have suckers for kids (and adults) at the door as you leave.

I happened to he nearby and craving a burger today, so I stopped in. My server (Casey) was very nice and quick. The burger was good, but undercooked (I asked for well done), so I only ate half. Also the website said something about Happy Hour deals, but there weren't any, at least that I saw. Would've been nice- paid almost $20 after tip and tax for a burger I only ate half of. Fries were good though, and I could tell the people around me were having a good time too. Maybe next time I'll be brave enough to send the burger back lol.
