Food was great, service outstanding, cleanest I've seen any Bob Evans in awhile. .Enjoyed it very much

Comfort food at a good price! I like getting breakfast at any time of day, but dinners are good, too. I was there on Thanksgiving and they had several choices for your entree, bread, side dishes and dessert. Since it was Thanksgiving, I chose turkey with mashed potatoes and gravy. Their mashed potatoes are excellent! For dessert one of the choices was "pumpkin supreme pie".....basically a combination of pumpkin pie and chersecake one on top of the other. It was delicious! I highly recommend it! It was a great place to go on a holiday.....no wait, good food and good service. Plus I didn't have to cleanup!

Well I was in there with my family this evening we were the last ones out around about 9:15p.m and the food was amazing and my waitress was awesome. When we went to leave I handed the hostess ( A young black boy with curly hair on top and short on the sides type hair style) anyways my bill was $33 dollars and some change. I handed the boy $40 dollars. I watched him place a five to the left of the cashier screen on top of the cash register drawer. And then he proceeded to tell me my change was $1 and change. I said excuse me I gave you $40 he said oh your right picked up the five from where he has placed it and handed it too me. He was so nervous I know it was intentional. If it was an honest mistake my remaining balance would have been in the drawer. I'm writing this to inform the company that I'm sure this wasn't his first time and my family and I eat at Bob Evens very frequently. The change was part of my waitress tip otherwise I may not have noticed as with alot of others. I paid with a twenty and 4 fives I understand I could of just given him $35 but needed the ones to finishes tipping. I just couldn't believe he even did that. Dishonesty within a company should be brought to light. Thank you the food was great as always and we had a great waitress.
