Las Piramides

Good food and a unique building. We had a large group and all of the food was excellent. A dinner entrée runs about $13, but the portions are huge. Several in the party ordered burritos. These were rectangular behemoths as if someone had taken two Chipotle sized burritos and set them side by side and wrapped them with a flour tortilla and smothered it in queso. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

I had really good chicken. The mushrooms on #18 were amazing. The gold margaritas are wonderful as well.

The biggest negative was the waitress being inattentive and even that was supposed to be from a big takeout order.The food was no worse than a typical Mexican restaurant but it had several nice things that make it stand out for me.

The salsa had a bit of spice and the chips weren't salted which tasted great. The Mexican casserole I had was quite good and the rice was a bit better than usual places. Plus coupons aren't rare so the food is cheap and filling on top of good.

The most authentic Mexican food you can find in the United States. I can say this because I've traveled a lot. If I could, I'd give it 6 stars. The building is the first school house in Washington Township!
