“Food was just ok. I ordered the salmon dinner. The salmon was overcooked and under seasoned. The grits needed some spice/heat to balance out the sweetness of the honey. The presentation was lovely however. The fries were overdone and my sons side of fries took another 5-10 minutes to come out after our meals. We waited a long time for our food, which I understand considering they are a newer restaurant. Our waitress was very nice, but it took a long time to get our check. My husband left with our kids since we drove separately. I made the mistake of paying without looking at the check...they charged me $12 for a teeny tiny side salad for my daughter. My husband's meal was I think $18 and came with a salad. I didn't feel like waiting around longer at this point to try to dispute the bill. We love supporting local, but this place has some work to do.”

“This was our second time. It’s a bit pricey but the food is tasty and it is fresh and therefore doesn’t taste processed or oily. The portions are also really big and both times I’ve had leftovers. Their drinks are also creative and good. I know they are still working out kinks bc they just opened. We went tonight and the parking lot was packed and we had to circle around a couple of times. The bar was super slow to the point I cancelled my drink but the manager brought it anyway and comped it; we will definitely be back. It’s nice finding a restaurant in the area that isn’t a chain and their food really does taste freshly prepared. The atmosphere is great too. I’m giving overall 3 stars bc of the kinks that need to be addressed and there isn’t an almost 4 star option.”

“Ordered take out... Steak Philly, Reuben, Spinach Salad, Fries and Carrot cake. Tremendous! Steak was perfect, delicate not chewy, bread was fresh and don’t see how anyone could make it better. Complaints - the vegan stuffed tomato was too small and I had to order an extra side of pasta. The server told me the donut desert was vegan, but then brought it to me with whipped cream and it seemed like the sauce on it was made with butter, so I didn't eat it.”

“Vaccaro's is one of my favorite Italian restaurants anywhere. I go back to when Raphael and his family had the restaurant on South Arlington in Akron. Real Italian cuisine. Yesterday, I went there for a casual business meeting and got to try something new. I had the gnocchi and pizza before (both extraordinary) and decided on a Wednesday special of seared scallops w/ lobster meat, spinach, small potatoes, sun dried tomatoes and legumes. The flavor was exemplary because the sauce holding everything together was not watery and kept the individual flavors in tact. I love scallops and I love lobster but this is not something I would normally get. Once again, Vaccaro's chef proved why quality ingredients and kitchen skill are necessary for consistent quality. Highly recommended.”

“This is five star dining at very fair pricing. My fiancee and I had the crab cake appetizer and it was exceptional. Loaded with chunks of fresh crab and not filled with breading/stuffing. Scallop entree was incredible....perfectly prepared with wonderful seasoning and cooked to the EXACTLY correct level of done-ness (not easy to do!). Fillet and Scampi was also exceptional. Service is also top rate. Our waiter (Jerry) was attentive, knowledgeable, and quite frankly provided the best service we have had in quite some time. The entire evening was a dining experience....not just going out to dinner. We had an incredible evening and enjoyed cuisine that blew the lights out! This will be a go-to restaurant for us - no doubt about it.”

“My sister and I ate dinner here today, it was new place to both of us to eat. We were VERY impressed. We arrived around 6:30p on a Friday night - it was already pretty full as it is a smallish type venue We were promptly greeted, then within moments, a table was vacated, cleaned and we were seated, water served - with smiles all around. Within minutes of our arrival, the place was totally full. We only saw 3 people (hostess, waitress, and server) scurrying around the enrire dining area like one well organized dance group. Drink and food orders were taken, water refilled and food delivered, all being overseen while not necessarily being seen by the hostess. The experience felt effortless in its presentation. Speaking of presentation - the food look as fabulous as it tasted. Did I say how pleasant everyone was? It was a finely tuned experience. And the price is exceptional as well! We had one soup, two beverages and two main course meals (big enough to have lunch for tomorrow) for only $36! Really nice and pleasant Friday night out without breaking our wallet. We will definitely be going back - I've already referred two of my friends. GREAT JOB FOLKS! Thanks for a great evening out.”

“I used to come here a lot after my learning RX sessions a few years back. The food is to die for. Probably the best Chinese I've ever had! It sucks that it's nearly 50 minutes away from were I live. However the dining area is pretty dirty. There is always dust on the floor and the salt and soy sauce containers are dirty. So if you go here I recommend you get it to go. The staff is very nice 9/10 for me!”

“The food is good, but the prices are high. I got a little burger, little fries and a drink and my wife got a bigger burger, bigger fries and no drink and we paid $26. I know I am paying a premium for fresh beef and hand cut fries but these are prices for a full service restaurant not a quick service restaurant. This is what a bill would be like at Red Robin or TGIFridays for a similar meal. We only went because we had a gift card.”

“Newly remodeled inside and out. The new play place has a designated area for toddlers, touch screen games for older kids, and plenty of ways to burn extra energy throughout the rest. Touch screen ordering has found its way to north-east ohio. If you know exactly what you want and want to just get in and out, order the old fashioned way, but If you have a bit more time and you're indecisive the new touch screen ordering stations are reasonably initiative and crisp. Friendly staff and a modern feel, it might not make you wax nostalgic, but you'll still have a pleasant experience”

“The food is excellent (especially the steaks — the best I’ve had in the area). The service is always friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is on the upscale end, but warm and welcoming at the same time. We’ve been coming here for the last 4 years for their Mother’s Day brunch and have never been disappointed. The prices are certainly in line with what you’d expect from this caliber of restaurant. I have nothing negative to say — it’s simply one of the nicest places to go in the area.”
