“Rice and veggies are very good. Yum yum sauce is delicious. Tried steak and chicken and the combo of the two, and meat is always under-seasoned, steak overcooked and/or chicken tough. The one time I went and there was a younger guy on the grill, the chicken was just like a sit-down Hibachi restaurant. YUM Unfortunately, that was only the one time. The girls at register are always polite and helpful. As a local business, I hope they read some of these reviews to make some changes as I love to support small businesses. :)”

“This place was great! Wife and Husband owners were very friendly and informative. Lots of cold treats and baked treats that were creative and visually appealing on display. I got their pizza. Really good. The dough was properly salted and fermented nicely, leaving a nice crispy crust with a good chew. Sauce was bright and fresh with a nice balance of garlic and fresh basil coming through. Quality cheese and pepperoni on it too. It is a great pie that I'd make the trip for again, no doubt. They are sourcing a lot of their ingredients locally and have a great vision of their community as well. Great food, great people. Highly recommend!”

However, one needs to expect that often these places will only serve ‘comfort foods’. Such is the case with Swenson’s, which specializes in small, inexpensive hamburgers with a two sauces. They were nothing special. It really only deserves three stars, but I give extra credit for history. Also, the sprinting servers were an entertaining touch!”

“We arrived at about 6pm on a Saturday. We had 6 in our group. We were seated quickly. Our server was really good, she was not very chatty but she was on top of our orders. They have the best sweet tea in Ohio. I will go back just to have their sweet tea. Our orders arrive with no mistakes. I loved my chicken parmesan, my daughter had a very large breakfast. All of it came out as ordered. We will definitely be going back. Great service, great food, delicious deserts. How can you go wrong?”

But what I got was not a taco it was heaven and the hot sauce with it was like cherubs serenading me with every bite.
