“What a delightful experience! The food was interesting with subtle flavors. Started with the famous sauerkraut balls. The presentation was attractive staked meat croquettes in a stainless steel container with two dipping sauces - cocktail and a delightfully hot mustard. But the meat croquettes were a perfect blend of flavors. The signature house field greens were another exciting blend of flavors with great texture - candied pecans were a delightfully opulent touch topped with shredded green apple and thankfully you are asked what dressing you want, as the salad comes with the complimentary dressing that neither overwhelms or detracts from the salad. The red pepper bisque was a third perfect blend of flavors. Even the bread basket was perfectly warmed rolls and a biscuit which came with apple butter, butter and an exciting relish with bacon bits. Perfect meals topped off with four stories of antiques. And even a clever T shirt was available. The service was fast and accommodating. Enjoy!”

“Absolutely tasty meals! Arrive early for breakfast and food is prepared exactly as you choose. I saw the banana, walnut pancakes, but I wanted them with the buckwheat flour. No problem. The short stack was 3 large pancakes, and they were delicious with butter. Meet a friend for lunch. The sandwiches were so good I forgot to photograph them. Both the Uncle Ruben and the triple cheese with bacon and tomato sandwiches were so tasty. The pickle was perfect. There was a line at lunch, but everyone was friendly and efficient. There is a children's menu just for children. And coffee is for sale. For the price you can not do better!”

“Finally got the chance to go after our daughter and future son-in-law said how good it was. After a stressful morning they were right. Got there about 1:00 and only 1 other couple there. Quiet, relaxing, and great pizza and beer. We have had pizza all over the eastern US and this was the best we have had anywhere. Crust is what I have been striving to make at home for our homemade pizza. Had the provolone cheese which was great and will be using from now on. Can’t wait to go back and wish they were closer.”

“My husband and I went on a Friday night, about 7:30 p.m., an unplanned stop because another restaurant had a long wait. We're not from this area but wanted to try someplace we'd never been. There is a bar to sit at, a defined bar seating area (booths & tables) and a more family-oriented restaurant seating area. We were greeted promptly and chose to sit in the restaurant area.There were families as well as couples. Music was a good volume level, pretty much rock/pop. There are t.v.s everywhere with whatever sport you want to watch. Our server was friendly and helpful, service was very good. The menu had the typical bar/grill appetizers, side salads, a variety of burgers, including the Warrior Burger which seems to be their signature item. I saw seafood choices as well. There was a separate menu for beer, seemed like a good variety. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with a side salad. I was apprehensive about the salad (not expecting it to be great, in a bar-type restaurant) but trying to add some measure of "healthy" to my meal! I was pleasantly surprised by a salad with green romaine lettuce, nothing wilted, fresh tomatoes and cucumber, croutons and a good tasting dressing. My burger was perfectly cooked and delicious! My husband ordered the Warrior Burger. It was huge. He could barely get his hands around the whole thing (two burger patties, fried pickles slices, onion, cheese, etc.) It too was delicious as were the sidewinder fries. Overall we were pleasantly surprised by our impromptu visit to Billie's Burgers & Beer. If we're out that way again, we'll know where to stop for a good meal.”

“I have lived by this location for 4 years and have always had problems with it. From the staff to the food, something was always off. We would drive to Maineville or Monroe rather than go to the store within a mile of our house. We give them a try periodically and always seem to be disappointed. HOWEVER, this trip was different. I don't know if they are under new management or just have a new manager. The food has been getting better and we were very pleased with it this time and the last. The service is getting better too. I gave them 4 stars because we had one issue, but they fixed it. We are hopeful that they are turning a corner.”
