“We ordered takeout from here 3/25/22 and Meredith assisted us. She was SO helpful and went above and beyond. We had forgotten to order an appetizer, and she went ahead and let us order it on the spot and had it out very promptly (despite it being an extremely busy Friday night), as well as went to the back for a side of ranch when asked. I was impressed by the service, and then on top of that the food was delicious! 5 stars for sure! Altus is lucky to have this place.”

“Went there for dinner on a Friday night around 6:30 PM. GPS said we had reached the restaurant but we didn't see it. Parked close by and walked until we found it ( about 50ft away). Their sign looks like it got broken so there was nothing identifying it from where we were. Establishment is small but clean and has a nice atmosphere. Service was quick, the servers were friendly and helpful. I got the three taco dinner with barbacoa and pastor, they were amazing and a very pleasant surprise! Prices were very good, I would recommend this place to others. I also plan on making this an every Friday dinner stop for the rest of the time that I am here in Altus. At here again recently. Food is still delicious and I will be eating here every Friday until I leave!”

“We walked in from out of town with a party of 8. This restaurant was suggested to us by the clerk at the motel we were staying at. The portion sizes are enough for two people and the food was fantastic. The waiter ever brought my child another version of what she ordered to see what she liked better at no charge to us. “We went there on our anniversary last night. We were glad they were open on a Monday night. The food was excellent. We had an appetizer of jalepeno poppers wrapped on bacon, delicious; steaks, cooked to perfection and good quality beef; salads were fresh and delicious; homemade hot rolls with cinnamon butter, and fresh baked Potato. We enjoyed dessert as well. Our waitress was attentive to check on us often and it was a relaxed evening perfect in every way. Go, you’ll be glad you did.”

“Burger was really good much better than any fast food burger in town. Plus they had fried pickles! I appreciate their menu it seems like a very easy going place. Not to mention very much like a small town sort of hangout spot where everybody coming in seemed to recognize at least one person who was already there. It was nice just being in there and around that home-town sort of atmosphere, particularly for somebody who's only temporarily in the area. Would highly recommend and plan to go again!”

“I stopped by this place and was immediately greeted and served. The staff is fabulous, attentive, considerate and kind. I ordered breakfast and the food was excellent. Enough so on my way back through I stopped again. This time they were super packed at 11:00 in the morning so I knew I made the right choice. Again greeted with the same person and trust me when I say she is sincerely all smiles when getting the customers. I ordered breakfast again with 2 over medium eggs, ham, (and let me tell you it's not a small thin slice) and these Mexican potatoes that I added cheese to that were off the chart and Texas toast. They have an amazing menu that I think anyone would enjoy. I would give this place a 10 star if I could. Fabulous!!!!”

“Food was great, they had a number of options and variety items that are not common in a simple take-out place. My wife and I both got triple delight (chicken, beef, shrimp) but I had it made in a clay pot so the sauce came out like a soup and she had it on a sizzling plate which made the sauce more like a gravy. We were both super satisfied with out meals and plan in going back in the near future, despite the restaurant being almost an 90 minutes from our home.”

“If you're in Altus for more than a week and you're NOT a regular here, you're doing it wrong. This place is PHENOMENAL, and the owners are so sociable and joyful! Note: if you're ordering during the lunch rush, you should call ahead. The pad thai is my favorite, and shouldn't be forgotten just because it's not in the store's name. Respect the spicy levels though, because it's Thai spicy rather than American - I start sweating at a 4, and I tend to have a high tolerance for spice. If you're not into spicy, start at 0 and work up. If you're just passing through on a fuel stop, get the food here. It's a staple and you won't regret it!”
