“I believe her name was Elizabeth. She was working the overnight/ early morning shift. Our car broke down right in front of the store at 430am. We were 4 hours from home. She helped us find someone who could get our jeep looked at and places near by if we needed a place to stay. Her ride came by before the end of her shift and he also helped with our jeep. She was very knowledgeable and we are so thankful for that. She offered us a small fountain drink while we waited on the tow truck. Also bathrooms were perfectly clean. We bought some of the breakfast tacos and those were delicious. If we find our way near here again we will definitely be stopping in. Excellent customer service.”

“The food at the Oaks is always perfect. Do you like fried catfish? The Oaks has better than the fish restaurant's. The chicken fried steak is above average, as is every thing on the menu. One of the big surprises us the more than overflowing salad bar. A meal within itself. The wait staff? Exceptionally friendly and efficient. There are no real negative to eating at the Oaks. Enjoy.”

“Was pretty good. Looks like a fairly new building on the outside and inside. Could use with some cleaning on the window sills, but other than that, the place seemed really clean. Staff was nice and greeted us when we walked in. We got regular and spicy chicken, and both were good. The logo on the side of the building was really cute! Always love their rolls, these were not hot today, but we went at an off time.”

“My husband and I visited Broken Bow to celebrate my 50th birthday. We wanted a restaurant that wasn’t so “touristy” with a cozier atmosphere. Rogue Local was perfect! Joe, our server, was awesome! He made several suggestions and was very attentive - always kept our drinks full. The jazz music was a perfect compliment to the delicious food. The steaks melted in your mouth and the mashed potatoes were mouth watering! If we visit Broken Bow again, we’ll definitely be back!”

“Wonderful food at a great price! We had 5 adults and 2 kids, all ordered something different. No complaints about anything, we all agreed it was great. I had the cinnamon roll pancake, and it was amazing. The waitstaff was right on top of everything, and very friendly. We would have went back the next morning, if they'd have been open. Definitely, the next time we're in town.”

“My favorite Broken Bow restaurant. It has a great laid back feel, friendly staff, & amazing food! The street tacos with cowboy beans are my fave (brisket & pork in particular). The home style fries are among the tastiest I've ever had. Great burgers, salads, BBQ, appetizers (the fried pickes & jalapenos are back!), & more! Nice wine selection, including from a local winery. Live entertainment as well.”
