“The Rojas Cartel is moving into Muskogee. The Rojas cartel, a small restaurant cartel based in Wagoner OK. is expanding its operations. That’s good news for you Muskogee. The market there is flooded with unexceptional Mexican food. You deserve better options. Rojas Mexican Grill and Cantina brings it. They will be a strong competitor with their great food and excellent service. Our meal started with thick crisp house made chips and tasty salsas. The mild was good, the picante was excellent and the queso was superb. Make sure you get some of the queso. For meals we ordered the Chile Rellenos Dinner (chicken) and the Enchiladas Verdes. The relleno meal was a plate of two massive fresh poblanos, engorged with a colossal amount of seasoned shredded white meat chicken lightly battered and fried. I chose the queso on top. It was perfect. A meal big enough for two people. My wife’s Enchiladas Verdes were another winner; two large cheese filled corn tortillas loaded down with carnitas and smothered in tangy fresh green enchilada sauce. Smooth refried beans and seasoned rice came with both meals. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. Easy access, located on the northwest corner of Highway 69 and Airline Ave, with a large parking lot. The two gentlemen working this afternoon provided welcoming attentive service. My receipt said our server’s name was Dudley. Dudley? Great service. Try Rojas next time”

“This was a great experience. It’s a small place but luckily it wasn’t busy. The waitress was very attentive and nice to talk to and outgoing. The special was a great deal but I opted for the bacon cheeseburger and it was great. Definitely one of the best burgers in town if not the best. Seasoned beautifully and cooked to perfection. The curly fries were crispy and well seasoned too. The ingredients seemed farm fresh. Just overall a great experience and I’ll be back.”

“They've been open for about 2 months or so? We gave them a little time to work out the "Kinks". Three of us: Meatloaf got 3 stars (out of 5), Chicken Pot pie got 3 stars, and Fish got 2 stars. Service is struggling, as is most places because the staff is "low energy, low motivation", we asked for a different server because our appetizers arrived but we had no silverware or plates? Had to go get them myself. When I asked the server she replied "well that is their job when they bring out the food"? She is either new or just doesn't understand customer service? Our "replacement server" forgot about us etc. etc. Just not a good experience when you have to ask for everything. The Manager (male/curly hair) was very attentive, offered free appetizers, to which we declined. Just wanted to bring issues to their attention. In retrospect, I believe it is just a lack of good help, not everybody but several. We still tipped very generously, perhaps it will sink in that good service = tips!”
