“I will give this a 3 star review simply because my meal (the chopped steak) was really good! The broccoli was cooked perfectly; just enough crunch. Now, what my wife and I observed is a different story. Servers wiping their nose with the back of their hands while making shakes, and children running around behind the counter. Very unprofessional! My wife and I were excited thinking that quality had improved at this store, but maybe not. I would like to recommend that management retrain all staff in hygiene and keeping the store orderly and clean.”

“Have been wanting to visit the store for quite some time. Ever more so since we started our plant-based diet about two months ago. Dream finally came true yesterday. Went there with our friends. We had to try their breakfast. The vegan breakfast bowls were super delicious. We were so amazed by the varieties of products in their whole grain store. Definitely had a great and fun experience. Pizza beautiful on the top and undercooked on the bottom. Wrap was fresh but included about 11 tater tots. Wings overcooked and under sauced. Verdict: Applebee's might be their nearest competitors”

“I work nearby and have stopped in at Parker's Hideout a few times to have drinks with coworkers, and also by myself. Every time, I've been impressed by the excellent, professional service at a very reasonable price. Heather is often the bartender. She does a fantastic job! The interior is very spacious, with a classic bar, tables for eating, a dance/karaoke floor, and several smaller rooms in the back with couches for smaller groups. There are also two covered patios, and plenty of parking space. It's really a great atmosphere. I highly recommend it!”

“This place was the basically the first place I ever had Thai food, many years ago. It was amazing, so I thought all Thai food places would be amazing. Boy, was I wrong. Now having moved out of the area and having tried many other Thai restaurants, I miss this place soooo much. Their pad Thai is a delight, such a perfect balance of flavors. Many places overdo it with the tamarind or fish sauce, but not them. Even though the portions are generous I always wanted more. I especially love their spicy fried rice dish. Oh it was heaven. Large chunks of onion and bell pepper and whole basil leaves mixed together with a sticky, sweet, and spicy fried rice. I couldn't get enough of that stuff. Give them a try, you won't regret it.”

“I've been coming here since I was a kid. Normally relatively low-traffic, no matter the hour. Arranged well for very social hang-outs and reserved study-sessions alike. Reasonably priced drinks and treats, and a very generous punch-card reward system. The drink specials are always very kooky and seasonal, the ones I've tried are very good. This is the only place I've been to that I can really get behind their super sugary, over-the-top coffees. Good amount of alternative milk options and sugar-free syrups. Staff has always been very kind, patient and undiscriminating. They almost always have a movie playing, but not at a volume level that is too distracting if you're not watching. A surprisingly large collection of video games for recent consoles, and a lot of obscure titles for older consoles. Quite the comprehensive TV series section. Blockbusters, B-movies and cult classics abound. They boast a raffle of sorts for frequent customers. A cozy local rental place that did what Blockbuster couldn't, and is doing a damn good job at it.”

“This is hands down one of the very best places to eat in Portland! The food is absolutely amazing and the staff is great too!! Tonight my family of 5 stopped here for a late dinner after a very busy day, like 30 minutes before closing. The staff seated us and got our orders, a few minutes later she came to inform us that due to closing soon they were out of egg flower soup so we politely declined other soup. To our surprise the owner was there and had them make us fresh egg flower soup!!!! How awesome is that!?!? Such an amazing experience and such delicious food!!! Definitely recommend to everyone! “Tachos is consistently a fun and welcoming place to be. I've only ever been on Friday and Saturday nights, but they've always been good experiences. Karaoke runs smoothly and the bartenders and wait staff are terrific (shout out to Teresa!). “The atmosphere was nice, the kids had half pound hamburgers which seemed ok but there was nothing special about them. We had Crab and artichoke dip. It was cold and the top was soggy from apparently frozen crab leg pieces that were dumped on top (not mixed in) and microwaved for 30 seconds. I took one bite and set it aside. My wife ate a few bites before she realized. Back at our room she spent the night sick and puking. It was a special 100$ meal that we got to see twice! Yay. On a side note, we were here once before and it was nice, a bit pricey but nice. And the live music last night was wonderful! (Update) took our boys to breakfast with vouchers from hotel stay. Breakfasts were hot fresh and our teens were very happy. I have added an additional star to reflect this.”
