Galactix Arcade & Taphouse

Some friends and I were visiting the coast for the weekend (from Washington) and had such a fun time with the expansive selection of arcade games and friendly/knowledgeable staff!

They not only have a great beer selection, but the atmosphere of the location is jaw dropping to say the least! It is clean, and there is so much detail to make this location appear as if you’re in a sci-fi bar from some work of fiction. If you love pinball, or just looking to have a drink in a VERY cool place, this place is worth your time.

This place is cool as F. Underground 90s arcade with a bar…..what more you’ll you want. My hats off to the owner because this concept is amazing.

SUCH a fun spot! The vibe is that of a futuristic 70s movie/80s cartoon with fun games, great service, a fantastic tap list, and atmosphere that you don’t want to leave. A must-do if you’re in Astoria

The games are great and we had a blast there!! We found a large selection of diverse local beers and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The game selection is awesome, their pinballs are superb (but it is expensive $1 per game....) and they also have very very cool retro and modern arcade machines.

If you're into pinball, beer/cider and/or Star Wars/Trek, this arcade is for you. Fantastic decor - they did a great job! Good beer selection and good pinball selection. Kids under 13 not allowed and kids must be out after 5 or so. Little hard to find, though. Basically a basement joint in the middle of the block. Had a great time.
