Himani Indian Cuisine

I will preface this review by saying that I can only attest for the lunch buffet at this restaurant:
This was Indian food only in that it was technically food and we ate it at an Indian restaurant. The options were somehow varied and sparse. When I sit down to eat this kind of food my mouth waters at the thought of bold, exotic spices and heat so molten hot that I wish my mouth were made of lead that could taste. Unfortunately, that is just not what was offered.
Bland isn't quite right because there was definitive taste. They, much like winter in Alaska, just didn't have any heat.
It wasn't bad it just wasn't very good either. The price was good for a buffet though so that's cool.

Never thought I'd enjoy Indian food but no boy was I wrong.. I now go here at least once a week.. Awesome food great service

I love this place! They give excellent meals, their menu is varied, The cook in that place is very trained, I enjoy very much eating all their dishes. The food is consistently good, the service towards the clients is helpful. I visit often this place and I not even once was unsatisfied. I recommend it with no hesitation.

Humani is consistently great with their offerings. Whether you go for the lunch buffet to try everything out, or pick a favorite (or 2) from the dinner menu, just really good. My favorite is the Mushroom Mutter. They have a wide selection of vegetarian and gluten free options too. And the owners are super sweet and usually there with the kiddos. This is one of our favorite Astoria restaurants for dinner.
