Stayed in here for the first time in Room 101. Such a great option for the Sisters area. Nicely designed rooms and features, great restaurant and taproom below, and great communication by the manager.

Outstanding concept and build-out, great vibe and service. So strong in those factors that the taphouse menu is a disappointment and feels like a real missed opportunity. The food was forgettable, unless you're only after beer, burgers, and TV screens, apparently. I'm not looking for an upscale gourmet and craft cocktail experience like I might find from a similar spot in Bend or Portland, but given the prices and prime location, I was expecting more than just average pub food. Adequate for the sports bar crowd I guess, but not anything that would attract a broader clientele or make it stand out in Sisters. To be specific, in my experience, the brisket was tender but bland (you shouldn't have to douse it in barbecue sauce for it to be flavorful). The mac and cheese was dry and bland, and not very cheesy. The salad was from a bag, and the croutons and dressing also likely pre-packaged. It's not hard to house make these things. I was super excited for the Kola Old Fashioned, but it was watery and disappointing. My friend asked for bubbles and got a disappointing selection in a can. My other friend enjoyed his beer, so at least they've got some good ones on tap.

Again...perfectly adequate, and a solid 3 stars. Because of all the TV screens and location it'll probably do well. But if the Ski Inn Taphouse wants to be a standout destination, it needs to be elevated to match the price and location. A small but strong craft cocktail program and a consultation from a talented chef would make this place a home run that I would return to every time I visit Sisters.

Spent two nights Thu/Fri in room 106 and had a great time. Both the pub and rooms are very clean and new, still smelling of fresh paint, with high ceilings, brand new tiles, smart mirrors in the bathrooms, and that fabulous deck to hang out on while resting our sore legs after skiing.

One point of criticism though -- the waitstaff in the pub seemed way too focused on closing time. On Thursday we were told they were closing at 8PM and got nudged out the door after a quick bite and drink (which was good). Then on Friday we got turned away at the door at 7:30PM with no food or drink , being told "we are closing in 10 min". Nearly every seat in the house was full. Seemed awful early to close, especially with a full house on Friday night at the start of spring break. Fortunately there are several other bars and restaurants within a short walking distance.

Would definitely recommend the Ski Inn as a place to stay, room 106 was fabulous! Just don't count on food or drinks in the pub during early evening hours when you would expect them to be open.

My wife and I visited this restaurant for the first time. Great ambience. Loved the canoe over the bar. I had the "Jala" burger which was seriously one of the better burgers I had in awhile. Strongly recommend. My wife had the garden salad which described as "okay". Prompt service.

Stayed at the inn recently and would highly recommend it! Very cute boutique hotel. Love the decorations, the towels were great and having access to the wrap around porch was awesome. I’ve been to the Taphouse several times on trips through town and it’s never disappointed. Good selection of beer and great food.
