“My mom and I fell in love with this place, we went 2 days in a row! Their food is soo good, everything made from scratch in house including the bread, yum! The coffee was so good, their homemade whipped cream was literally the best we've ever had. It smells amazing inside so it's hard to not get food when you're there. Soup of the day was clam chowder (pictured) and it was divine. We will definitely be back when we're in town, highly recommended!”

“Great stop today for a quick lunch at Solstice Pizza. Located along the Columbia with great views of the park and River. Lunch menu is filled with fresh and unique offerings. A stand out was the butternut squash soup and wide array of wood fire prepared Pizza. Plus I had a Chicken Caesar that stood out with it's tangy preparation. Hood River has many solid options, if you have not tried Solstice yet put it on your must-list.”

“Great food. Great cider. And even unique Belgian and German beers if cider isn't your thing. A must stop in Hood River.”

“The food was five stars! Cool place. Great view of Mt Adams! Service was not the best... I would still make it point to eat there again.”

“It’s a pretty good McDonald’s. Good enough. My order is almost always right. I’ve had to have them remake a few things because of messy, slap-dash assembly. I’ll take sloppy over inaccurate any day, but I’d rather have neither. I wish they’d take a little more pride in their product. Hotter fries, fresher buns, sleeker burgers - that would go a long way. Service is always on point, though. The other McDonald’s by the bridge is a good 5 minute drive further, but I often treat myself to driving out to that one since the buns always feel hotter and fresher, the orders are always accurate, and the burgers seem like they are made with more pride and care than the average McDonald’s. I know it’s weird but even the soda cups seem cleaner and sturdier. That’s gotta be placebo effect.”

“What a wonderful local coffee place. They have one of the best and fun latte flavors around and their donuts are divine. The lunch and dinner menus are diverse and delicious looking, from rice bowls to grilled cheese and avocado toast, the kitchen knows what their doing.”

“This McDonald’s is the better of the two McDonald’s in town in every way. The lobby seems cleaner. The drive-thru moves faster. The food is hotter and fresher. I often drive out of my way 10 minutes when I’m craving McDonald’s so I can get the good stuff here. I don’t know why this McDonald’s is so much better. It just is, though.”

“I spent a few hours in Hood River shopping and walking downtown a few weeks ago and as I was about to leave decided to look for a place that sells wholesome smoothies. A quick web search pulled up Remedy Juice bar. When I walked in the owner greeted me warmly and asked what I was looking for. After looking at the menu I settled on the PB and B. And it was amazing! He asked me if he could let him add a small amount of espresso to and being the coffee drinker I am I said go for it! Wow. Seriously. Best smoothie I’ve ever had. He was extremely friendly and I told him the next time I’m in Hood River that I’d definitely stop by again. I’m happy that I did. Excellent smoothie and wonderful service.”

“Very good food, pleasantly surprised by everything. Great French Dip, wonderful meatloaf sandwich and some legit mac n cheese from scratch. Even the clam chowder was delicious. Can't fault any of the dishes we had and the atmosphere is casual and laid back. We'll definitely be back.”

“Sure is a great breakfast experience, very good choices on the menu, quality is great, clean environment, very casual setting. The only real drag at times can be the parking of a vehicle, no such thing as convenience there. But for those that find street parking in front or near-by, you are in business then. Definitely want to try it out if you have time, we try to hit it up every time we are in the area. They are very consistent with quality and quantity each time we visit the restaurant. Hope you can get the same treatment as we do, you should, if not, many apologies, but I don't think you will regret it.”

“Best hangover breakfast well into the early afternoon. Great for taking to-go, hiding in bed and watching cartoons, or walking down to the river for a little picnic lunch on the grass. The bagels are dank and keep getting better and more consistent. The California Roast Beef on the Everything Bagel is my FAVORITE bagel sandwich of all time. They also have a delicious selection of juices. I particularly love the Watermelon-Strawberry-Mint one. MintBerryMelon, I think. So refreshing. Fresh fruit on offer as a side for your sandwich is a nice touch to round out your meal and add some fiber to your meal.”

“Went here based on the reviews, yet I was rather unimpressed. The biscuit I ordered and muffin my friend got were served ice cold with cold, hard butter. I was expecting a warm biscuit. The latte I ordered was fantastic and I would highly recommend this place for coffee, as for the middle of the road rating. Egg sandwiches appeared to be a quiche style, which was a bit surprising, but some may be enticed by its originality. This, overall, was a different breakfast experience than originally planned, but amazing coffee/lattes/lemonade.”

“Very nice stop on the Hood River Fruit Loop. We walked around the lovely gardens for a bit, bought some apples. They have wines and ciders to taste. We checked out the food truck. We were pleasantly surprised with the unadvertised special. A delicious clam chowder and hot grilled sourdough baguette. The chowder was very thick with clams, not just a bowl of potato soup with a sprinkle of clam. The flavor was wonderful!! Definitely a do over. I was hesitant to order food as a lot of reviews said it was a long wait. Our experience was great. Even though they were busy, it was only about 15 min to get food. They give you a pager so you don’t have to stay at the truck waiting to be called.”
