“We discovered the Hidden Door today for a nice weekend lunch. The food was very tasty and the chef was amazing. He is very friendly and provided great customer service. I am deducting stars because of the host/waitress was discombobulated. We waited way to long for our food and when it did come out she gave it to another customer. Luckily that customer realized the error and handed us our food. The waitress was handling drinks improperly with her and over the rim along with having her thumb in the water picture. ewe. Yes, I would go back because the food was good. I will, however, hope she is not there.”

“THEY HAVE A TROMPO!!! The Al Pastor is the best you will find in the rouge valley. The green sauce with Al Pastor tacos/quesadillas/nachos etc. is crazy good. Seriously this place has Al Pastor that is order of magnitude better than anything else around because no other place uses a trompo. Plus you can call ahead to pick up your order and they are open late. Just go!!!”

“We went here for lunch and it was fantastic. The food was good and the beer was refreshing. It was our first time so they let us sample some of their house brews and they were all flavorful. I ended up ordering the Snacky Snack plate which was great for a light lunch along with a My Ex Amber. The indoor dining was spacious and comfortable and when it warms up a bit the outdoor patio looks like a great spot to spend an afternoon. I look forward to going back.”

“Real Mexican food at a reasonable price. The cook is about 70 something with her own recipes. Only downfall is that it might take a minute to get your order. But the food is definitely awesome. Owner is super friendly. If you want to try this place it is better to call them and place an order first. Second downfall might be hard to find their phone number. Third downfall doesn't speak well English that food is awesome. For what the selection is. PS menu is not that big.”

“Oh my gosh I am turning into a foodie. Haha. Had brunch type meal at Memo's today and I am hooked. I have eaten here before but just regular breakfast of Bacon and Eggs and it was good but today I got brave and tried the breakfast Burito with sausage and tomato and red sauce and what can I say? It was fantastic. Super tasty, so much cheese I was in heaven, and food for 2 more meals. Only down side was rice was a little bland but I am nit-picking with that. I recommend Memo's for the food and the fantastic service.”

“I was in the Rogue Valley Mall this afternoon doing some Christmas shopping when I walked into the food court. Not expecting a whole lot frankly because these places usually aren't that great right. Anyway I walked by Villa Pizza and was greeted by an engaging young lady that explained the ingredients of the various Stromboli they had on display. I picked one to go that was full of spinach, feta, garlic and tomato sauce. and she told me she made them personally. All I can say is it was a piece of Italian Heaven, I was so impressed I had to go back and tell her how wonderful it was!”

“You enter a Subway store, and it's empty, slightly too cool to be comfortable, slightly too damp to feel clean, and slightly too bright to be inviting. There is one lonely employee, who does their best not to look at you for those awkward 10 seconds while you walk to the counter before you're close enough to order. You know you interrupted them while they were doing something else. They give their greeting, ask you what you want, you begin scanning their workspace. The bins of raw ingredients are sitting askew, separated by steel walls, yet careless hands have dropped some of each on all the others. The preparation area is littered with crumbs and bits of lettuce, maybe the odd olive or onion piece here or there that has wedged itself into the crack between the food trays and the cutting board. This could have been cleaned up while nobody was there, but the employee doesn't care. For one second you wonder how it got messy in the first place given the lack of customers. Maybe it's staged, like those first few pennies in a homeless person's hat. Do you want it toasted? You do, but that would mean standing here for a minute with the stranger you disturbed waiting for the bread to be sanitized. You observe the employee assemble your sandwich, making sure to painstakingly put each ingredient on only one half of the sub. You ask for sauce and they squeeze it out of a disgusting rubber nipple, then toss the bottle back into its bin like they don't want to touch it either. Are they wearing those gloves to keep the food clean, or their hands? You pay, the sandwich heavily sags into a flimsy garbage bag it doesn't really seem to fit in and is handed to you. You walk out, into the light of the sun. The colors suddenly seem real again and you become aware of your breathing because the air feels rich and life giving somehow. The distant memory of tasty subs that brought you here lingers just beyond the edge of clear recollection, like an old acquaintance who's face you can't picture anymore. You carry your catch to the car. When did it get this bad?”

“The burgers are delicious, the fries are amazing, highly recommend animal style. Drink, I get a 3/4 7up and 1/4 lemonade, it's perfect. The wait was only about 7 minutes to get our food, and the staff was absolutely amazing and all friendly and happy. The restrooms were clean and no wait. Hubby flew he and I from Gresham to come enjoy a good ol' in n out burger. Was 110% worth the couple hour flight. We will in fact do it again. Keep it up, and don't forget to grab a t shirt if you don't have one🍔🙂”

“We normally really like this place, but our last visit (1/14) was just OK. The rolls fell apart and were a mess to eat. The potstickers were ok, but not as good as usual. There seemed to be some dynamics happening with the sushi chefs too, which wad odd. We'll definitely be back, as it's convenient to shopping, but we came on an off night, which was a little disappointing. Normally very good.”
