“Just left here for the lunch buffet and we will definitely be back! Ambiance is great. It feels exactly like I'd expect it to- warm with attentive staff. The food was great: butter chicken, mushroom curry, and the cabbage was at the top of our eat again list. What really pushed this place to a 5 star was the fact that the lunch buffet was only 15.00 a person. My husband said "those are 2010 prices!" Great value for great food.”

“I love heading to Human Bean in north Ashland for a morning latte or an iced tea for an afternoon pick me up! My fluffy buddy usually orders the pup cup and gets so excited to have the team hand him some happiness!!”

“This is a must go to spot. The servers (I had Jasmine) and Manager Dan are absolutely amazing. They were kind, and treated me like family. The food is just incredible, you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu and the views inside and out are gorgeous. I have the truffle ravioli, and wow. Just wow. Incredible. Its the perfect restaurant in my opinion. TLDR: 10/10 would recommend to everyone”

“Bestow is one of my favorite places in all of Ashland, without it I’m not sure where I’d be in my plant journey!!! They carry so many varieties and beautiful pottery ($-$$) cute gifts, plant accessories and cards, I believe I’ve seen gift wrap before (?) but if you need a gift, this is the place to go, and I’m pretty positive all of my plants are either from bestow or from their plant swapping event they do yearly (twice I believe?). Highly recommend. And just a warning, you will feel like you are part of a secret club the second you “join”, it’s a great support system for you AND ur plants! Oh, and they have pet yellow birds in the shop!? It’s just magical, highly suggest and I also forgot to add they sell ciders wine etc sometimes (not sure if that’s 24/7) but it’s just such a cool clubhouse. 10/10 bring ur friends.”

“The good. Small menu and fun venue. Friendly and engaging staff. Reasonable prices. The bad. Parking is tough. The pork, dry, probably a crockpot recipe with a lean pork saturated in water. Recommend using a fatty pork and dont add water. Otherwise, good flavor. The beef, not too bad. A bit gristley but overall very good sauce and the sesame seeds add an authentic vibe to the dish.”

“Yummy! Delicious authentic Spanish meal. I had pork tamale with chicken enchilada and a taco. The salsa was so good, yet spicy. Everyone at the table was happy with their choices. Fast service. Clean place. Cold beer. Can't ask for much more.”

“My husband tried the special which was a breakfast burrito 🌯 style crepe; he loved it enough to not speak one word while he ate it, which means he loved it. 😃 I had the strawberry 🍓 cheesecake crepe and loved every bite. I can't wait to go back and try a savory crepe next. Kat has several of both sweet and savory crepes, so everyone can have their favorite. Plus there's a special every week.”

“Had a really great native American water blessing ceremony/get together up there on the mountain. Some interesting stories from the Oregon Indian Education crew, a drum circle and then potluck/music/cacao party after. It was an awesome day. Got a little too much sun out playing the flute so be sure to wear sunscreen or a hat if you aren't fully native and are prone to being sunburned - it's high altitude up there. Can't wait to snowboard it next season. Thanks Ashland Mountain staff for hosting us up there - I think the blessing helped subside the drought a bit and definitely helped spread the love and good vibrations.”

“Friendly staff, fast service. Wasn't super fond of the setup outside or the pizza but probably just me. Beer was great and that's really what matters. I do like the concept of coffee in the morning and beer at night. I got garlic pizza and a flight. Would still return.”

“So delicious!!! My husband and I had never been here before and came for our anniversary on a recommendation from a friend. Omar’s did not disappoint! The staff was so friendly and accommodating and really made us feel welcome and appreciated. I was so happy we could actually sit down for dinner and not have to take out because of Covid. I absolutely love the fact that they are a local landmark!! Fun facts, they have been in business since 1946 and are the longest running continuously operating restaurant from Portland Oregon to Redding California! Their restaurant is like stepping back in time in the best way!! It has a very warm, inviting atmosphere and their vintage feel is reminiscent of a restaurant scene from an old gangster movie! I love it! The food was A MAZ ING! the steak was far bigger than I had expected so be warned. It could easily feed two people or be several meals. We were beyond gluttonous but at Omar’s, it’s easy to be! We will definitely come back. I highly recommend visiting this Southern Oregon landmark and enjoying a fabulous meal!!!”

“We had a great breakfast here while in town for a long weekend. We had a short wait, and were seated in a nice, cool area between the main part of the restaurant and the patio. Get a bloody mary to start; you won't regret it! Between the 4 of us, we had a (large) pancake, biscuits & gravy, a reg 2 egg breakfast, and the risotto and kale cakes! The sausage gravy is on the sweet side, but man those biscuits are so yummy! Everything was tasty, service was friendly, and we will return!”

“This place has a great staff, and their food is among the best in Southern Oregon. I usually east here a couple times a week, and always have a pleasant visit. If your around the Ashland area give them a try. You won't be disappointed. If your not a local, it's worth the drive. They make excellent margaritas as well.”

“I went here with my mom. I got chicken pho and she got vegetable pho. The broth is delicious. The noodles are pretty tasty, and the chicken was very tender. The chilly oil really makes it impossible not to finish the bowl. A day later and I’m still ruminating on the eggplant in garlic sauce we also ordered. The eggplant was fried crispy beneath delicious sweet and savory sauce. The eggplant itself was melt-in-your-mouth juicy on the inside. The desserts looked really good too but they were all out.”

“Not the cheapest, not the biggest, not the fastest but... One of the best sandwiches you can get in southern oregon! We were the first order of the day, lots of employees running around, sandwich took 20 minutes for them to make. These are finger licking sandwiches so have clean hands. Ordered the Pastrami Zombie to split, for 75 cents they split the sandwich and added an extra pickle and bag of chips. Very nice touch. The pastrami was delicious but we got a couple of tough gristly pieces. The slaw was excellent, the rye bread was good but maybe it should have been toasted? Great music playing, comfortable seating,(for a parking lot 🤣) good vibes. Next time Italian Beef.”

“This is the Chinese food I remember as a kid. Served on platters to share with lots of amazing feast and appetizer options like egg flower soup and crab rangoons. The flavors work for the whole family, and I'd call the sweet and sour pork a sort of comfort food. It is the classic you expect and the bill for 6 was extremely reasonable.”

“Average price food for Ashland. Great healthy salads. Pizza was okay. Cheesy bread and the knots were missing something that made them seem pretty bland to us. The booths are squeaky so Everytime someone moves it makes its own music and that got us laughing. Kind servers and it was nice and clean inside. Happy eating :)”

“Our family of 5 had a great experience here! The staff was friendly and provided excellent service. The owner even came out to say hi and was extremely kind! Our whole family loved it! The pricing, quality, and quantity are spot on!! Try this place once and you’ll want to become a regular!! We are from out of town but visit Ashland often and will absolutely be back!! The warm, welcoming, and relaxing atmosphere, along with a cozy fire, really takes the cake!! We truly had the best experience!!”

“This may be my new favorite spot in Ashland! The food was so good, the portions were perfect, and the staff are amazing! Best falafel I have ever had, I could eat a buckets worth of the roasted beets too.”

“Ordered Eggplant Lunch Special; the portions are small. Price is a bit high for our area. The large pieces of eggplant were not cooked all the way through, which is always disappointing. The sauce was very good and the done pieces of eggplant were perfect. $5.50 for a Thai iced tea with coconut milk seems overpriced. Friendly service, which is always appreciated.”

“Beautiful resturant with open kitchen and sundries for sale. Ordered the F-Bomb and the Lamb and Chicken platter. The F-Bomb is advertised as having extra meat and falafel balls. If this is extra meat I would not order the standard meat gyros. I prefer Naan to the tortilla like wrap they use for their gyros. Mine had 1/2 salad inside but it did taste excellent. I think I found one falafel ball? There taziki sauce is thick and rich and on point. Their spicy sauce is OK, I would get it on the side so you can control your flavors. The lamb and chicken platter was excellent. It might be enough for two people if they gave you more naan. I requested extra taziki with the lamb and chicken platter and I’m happy I did. The Gyro was $12, a little to expensive for what I got. If it was more packed with meat it would have been a good deal. The Lamb and Chicken platter was $19, again a little expensive but they did give a good portion of delicious lamb and that is expensive stuff. If they gave 2 or 3 pieces of Naan it would be a fairer deal. Their flavors and spices are great. I will be back, just need to save my pennies for a while.”

“Krista has been such a pleasure to meet and her meat certainly meets and goes beyond our expectations. The pork chops were very flavorful and tender. The ribs were incredibly good and fell right off the bone when consumed with gusto by our guests. We're having her Italian sausage tonight with sour kraut and potatoes. I have never been disappointed in the 7 or 8 times I have purchased her product. I will return again and again.”

“We were visiting and were told by a local that this is one of the best spots in town. My wife and I are big into pizza and we were not disappointed. A New York style pizza with great undercarriage and super good crust. This is a solid 8 on my scale. We also ordered there Focaccia bread with cheese. It came out on a nice tray and marinara. I really wish I lived closer as I would be coming here all the time. Very good!”

And the list of FRESH smoothies they make is... well practically covers an entire wall... I can't wait to try another, probably the PBGB will be my next try! Great lil Healthy Nutrition Store & Smoothie bar... they're starting soft serve ICE CREAM soon!! Anyway, check em out, im glad I did.
