Clearwater Restaurant

While on our visit to Newport, we had lunch at Clearwater and it was an overall great experience. My husband ordered the crab Mac n cheese and it was amazingly delicious! They make it with truffle oil, which we love. The crafted non alcoholic drinks were also very good. My step daughter enjoyed the sweet blood orange lemonade. We also shared an order of crab cakes. Although they were a bit pricey, they were also very tasty! Our server was very pleasant and accommodating. The view of the harbor was beautiful. We would definitely go here again sometime.

I went here for my birthday. The food was good and the service was very good as well. But we sat outside none of the heaters were working! The outdoor dining at this place is BEAUTIFUL! And dining in the evening is wonderful but a bit chilly. They had several heaters but none were functional! Clearwater, PLEASE fix your heaters so your guests can enjoy the ultimate dining experience!! Despite the heater issue the food and service was very good!👍 I would go back again.

We went here for our anniversary and they made us feel so special. Our waiter (i wish I could remember his name :( was outstanding)The food and drinks were outstanding, true culinary works of art. I recommend reservations and request a seat by the window so you can watch the seal lions sun bathe. We will definitely be back next time we're in town. Thank you for a very special night.

The ONLY reason I am not giving them 5 stars is because of the service, I’m talking about our server. But the food alone deserves a 5 star rating! I had a crab cake as an appetizer and it was the best one I’ve ever had. For my entre I tried the curry stew and it was amazing! My husband had the crab sandwich and it was super delicious as well. I wish I lived in Newport so I could come here all the time. Oh and by the way, the drinks were just as good. Definitely will come back, and I definitely recommend this place!

As usual delicious food, had the stuffed acorn squash, didn't miss the meat. Great dish. And had one of my absolute favorites for dessert, their bread pudding. Also it's great to order ice cream to go with.
The view and the sea lions are always a treat. There's also outdoor dining on their deck. And of course the staff was as nice and professional as they always are.
