“Today was return visit, last one was 8 months ago. Once again, the halibut and chips is the best. Will be back again tomorrow, Great service And then the next day...Returned for fried oyster basket for lunch. The oysters were HUGE and delicious. Best on the west coast. 3rd time is the charm on this trip. Dinner for halibut fish and chips. I cannot get enough of this! Wife had fried halibut on top of their house salad. That is on the my list for our return visit, hopefully this fall sometime. Stopped for Halibut fish and chips. Definitely the best on the Oregon Coast. The fish tacos were also very good. Hopefully will make it one more time on this visit.”

“I have been traveling around the United States for the past 9 months. I have been to all sorts or restaurants from the west coast to the south. This was by far the best meal I have had, hands down... And it's at a brewery! Nothing about this meal was expected, and the passion for what they put on a plate was obvious. We had the beet salad, fondue and lion manes cakes which were all unreal. The use of local ingredients while pickling multiple vegetables and kimchi, just made this place fantastic. I would have been satisfied with this meal in LA, NY or Bali but to eat it in small town Oregon on the coast made it especially special. Definitely the place to eat when in Yachats!”

“Oh my goodness, hands down the best place to eat on the Coast. The menu is huge and so extremely diverse.We ordered so much food and shared it. Everything was so flavorful and delicious. We even had kids with us who are not fans of seafood and they were very pleased with what they ordered. A must...absolutely a must if you are visiting. The town itself is awesome too. So many gems around from coffee shops to dining to shopping!!! I will definitely make a trip here to eat anytime I visit the Coast!!!!”

“My son and I took a road trip on the coast to check out our favorite spots to explore some tide pools. We were feeling hungry and both of us wanted fish and chips. We came across the Blue Whale, we have never been here to eat. We decided to try it out. I was very pleased with the atmosphere and the service was on point. Our fish and chips hit the spot, very good and thick. Our waitress was very friendly and kind..... I'm really bad with names but as we sat down I asked how she was and she had said, "it's been a little busy and she needed to use the restroom". I told her to go ahead, don't worry about us, we are good to wait. When she came back she had said she owes me, I told her it was all good. She decided to reward me with a piece of pie of my choice..... That was awesome and also very good ( coconut cream) highly recommend. Needless to say we will be coming back.”

“I had dinner there recently. The service was fantastic, and the views were beautiful. The food on the other hand....not so much. I ordered a chicken fettuccine, and she ordered the bacon wrapped filet with "prawns". The chicken was dry, and I bit into an extremely hard piece (could have been bone?). Her steak, for the price, was unacceptable, plus the "prawns" were 2 little shrimp. If I'm going to pay a lot of money for a small portion, it has to be good. IMHO there are much better offerings close by. I highly recommend The Drift Inn about 3 minutes from the Adobe.....on the way follow the "fresh bread" signs too. You won't be disappointed.”

Fried things were crispy and golden, even sauced they didn't turn to mush. I didn't even need to use a drop of soy sauce. Everything was flavored to perfection. If you are ever in the Waldport area, eat here. I live 5 hours away, and still am debating on going for a road trip next time I want Chinese food.... “We took a chance on this restaurant because there seemed to be a lot of cars parked around it for a Sunday afternoon. We ordered the special seafood pot and special spicy beef over steam noodles. We had low expectations and were surprised to receive a pot of seafood, fish, shrimp, clams and oysters each cooked to perfection. The dish also contained mussels which in my experience are never particularly good. We ordered medium heat and needed to add chili oil. The beef fish was tasty but not spectacular. We ordered it hot and needed to add chili oil. It was surprisingly interesting and satisfying. Both dishes had a good tingle from the Szechuan flower peppers. All on all we had a very tasty, well prepared meal at a reasonable price. Give them a try.”
