    I was more than impressed with the customer service at this hotel. They went above and beyond to answer questions and to make us comfortable. The food is AMAZING, from the included breakfast buffet to the moderately priced cuisine in the attached restaurant. Room service was free and quick. The pool and fitness room were beautiful and clean. The bed was a dream, and the convention center modern and efficient. The surroundings are beautiful with a great park to view scenery and walk along the river. I’ll be back, but next time I’m bringing my family!

    More expensive than some places, but the hotel was beautiful. The handicapped room actually had a shower chair, which few places provide. They had a wonderful breakfast buffet & the location near the hospital was perfect for getting to early morning appointments at hospital with ease.

    We love the Grand Hotel. Always great service. Excellent rooms. Big hot tub. Close to downtown, the Capital, and Willamette University. The Grand Hotel is always my first call when visiting Salem.

    I stay here often visiting relatives. Easily the best hotel in Salem. 4 star + quality. Have tried some others in town. The Grand is more expensive but worth it. Room service is tied to Bentley's (the hotel's restaurant) hours so no really late night orders. Always friendly efficient service throughout. Can't remember ever having to wait in line very long for check in. They have a teency gift shop (purchases rung up at front desk). There is an espresso cart in the lobby but I've never seen it open. Free full breakfast, buffet style, is good. Attached to the Salem Convention Center on the ground floor, but design makes hotel seem separate- a nice quality IMO. Free guest parking. Very close to Riverfront City Park along the Willamette River, which has nice walking / biking / jogging trails and a carousel.

    Great hotel and stunning location to downtown Salem. I have stayed here in the past (several years ago). It was such a great experience then, I made sure I stayed here this time. I was not disappointed.

    Delicious breakfast buffet each morning. Highly recommend it. And then, go for a walk along the river or over to the capitol building.
