“Clam chowder was good, possibly more clams would have made it better. Flavor of the fresh fish sandwich was overpowered by sauce on the bun. Fish and chips was better. Visited on a Friday evening. It did seem as though they were a bit short staffed. Drink order got a little mixed up but that was fixed immediately. Waited for ranch for a bit but ended up having to go ask for it at the bar. Bar was loud and packed in a positive way, complete with modern day pirate toting parakeet. We were celebrating a birthday. Server brought a surprise birthday drink that did not disappoint, try the captain on acid!”

“Was driving by here today after spending some time on the coast and we had to do a u-turn to go check it out. Everything we ordered was delicious and the prices were very fair. Clam chowder was thick and full of good sized clam pieces. Sandwiches were stacked with meat and veggies and did not disappoint. I recommend the potato salad as your side option. Lightly dressed with a very distinct egg and mustard flavor. Not heavy on the mayo like so many places do. Great local find, we love to support local eateries.”

“Excellent experience. This was his 3rd year anniversary opening. Music, beer, wine, prime rib, and local oysters galore. Highly recommend eating here. No reservations. First come, first served.”

“We had been so excited to try this place because of the rave reviews. The oysters on the half shell were fine. Definitely fresh and briny but nothing to write home about. The shooters were great with the horseradish. Everything else was sadly SO bland. The clam chowder is thick, rich and creamy- but absolutely no flavor. We all thought it tasted like paste. Even pepper would have helped. The fish tacos were piled with cabbage and some avocado, but whatever the sauce was on the tacos again had no flavor and the taco just fell flat. The poboy had a whiff of flavor and the oysters were well fried, but again it was all so bland. Great patio and good atmosphere, the staff were all very nice, there's so much potential -it was just the blandness of all the other food. For $15 sandwich and tacos they needed more.”

“I'm in love with this place! I came for lunch with my husband and mother-in-law, as we were visiting the area over the weekend. We have two dogs, and my mother-in-law has one dog, so we were on a quest to find dog friendly places to eat. Shockingly, this was one of the only places we could find in the area that would accommodate us and our pets in the patio. Since it's February and fairly chilly on the coast this time of year, we greatly appreciated the wind breakers surrounding the patio and the overhead heaters. It made for a very cozy and enjoyable experience! Additionally, their food is delicious and fresh! I ordered their fish & chips and wow, it was quite the treat. Their recommended beer pairings were also well thought out and delicious. Lastly, the general manager came out to chat with us and he was beyond kind. We felt so welcomed by him and like our pets were welcome as well. Thank you!!!”

“Best breakfast burrito I have ever eaten. Don’t let the looks of a former gas station building fool you. This is some seriously good food. Right across the street from the Public utilities building.”

“My first impression was... wow, it's pretty quiet in here. Very nicely decorated with red booths, black and white floor tile, and 50's style wall decoration I expected a little more atmosphere to go along with the Decor. We all chose a different burger with fries and they were great burgers. Their burger sauce was very good and one of their burgers had a special sauce on it. That sauce was outstanding! They also have large shakes and malts that we're thick and tasty. Everything we ordered was excellent! They take your order at the counter, where the only available menu is high on the wall. If you would like to sit first and take your time deciding what you would like to order you would need to be sitting in one of the front booths. Paper menus at the tables would allow you to take your time in choosing what you would like to order. Families with young children or like me, a Senior who has a hard time standing would appreciate this and would speed up the time standing in line. They do deliver the food to your table and that's nice. For the reason of inconvenience in the ordering process I gave 4 stars.”

“Dan's Den is a true hidden gem. I have to start by mentioning that this is one of the few places in Tillamook County that has such a great selection of specialty cocktails for all occasions. The hot buttered rum is the best I have ever had. Then there is the food and atmosphere, both are great and when combined with the great drink selections make this a place I go to any chance I get. I highly recommend trying the side winder fries. The atmosphere includes a nice gas fireplace to enjoy in the winter and a very nice pool table and shuffle board at no extra cost! You will also find screens for watching sports. Dan's Den is a just a little bit off the beaten path and in an unexpected location, but totally worth the visit.”

“Great food and service. We visited in the middle of March 2022 and it wasn't too busy. Staff was kind and fast. We enjoyed their chicken wrap, burger and nachos. They have good options for local beers and full bar. We had a great experience and will eat here again! They have both a separate dining room and more of lounge seating near the bar, so definitely a family friendly space.”

“Wow! Just WOW! The salmon was exquisite. The seafood linguine tasted phenomenal. The goat cheese and berry salad was pretty damn good. Not my favorite choice of dressing, but I tasted why they had the tart sharpness against the sweet.”

“Found this little place one day after work at the creamery. I’m from out of town and was just looking for a drink and some dinner. This place has good food, good people, and a great atmosphere. Had a guy (very persistently) ask me to dance and kept asking after my “no” and the male owner heard and sent his wife over to speak to me. Asked if I was having issues and when I explained, she told me where she was seated and that if I had any issues just to let her know and they would take care of it. As simple as that. Her and her husband had my back without me even asking. I will go to this place over and over again. As a single female, feeling SAFE in a little bar in a town that isn’t yours, is BIG! So thank you rendezvous, for having my back (even if I didn’t need it!)”

“There is so much thought and care put into creating this adorable place! The happy little animals stole my heart (miniature donkeys!) and feed is available for $1. Inside, is a french themed cafe and wine tasting area. The toasted, turkey and bacon pesto sandwich was so incredible that I devoured it without taking a pic. The wines (especially the whites) were excellent. There were plenty of little cheese samples and lots of other goodies to load up on. I'm so glad I didn't miss this stop!”
