We had the salty shrimp small plate which was delicious. Eggplant clay pot sauce tasted so good. Portions were generous, liked best was the baby back ribs. Very large portions, clear broth. Comfort food.
I come here to eat as often as I can afford. I love this place and the food is amazing. I just wish they had more business as I am afraid of then moving or going out of business... I recommend then to as many people as I can and even plan to hold my birthday party here come march. ^.^
This place is so BEAUTIFULLY designed! They really did an amazing job.
We have been to another location and this was our second time at this Vietnamese chain. The food was good and tasty and the presentation superb but the amount of food you get does not really reflect its price—the amount of meat does not match other restaurants we have visited and the egg roll was cold when it is very typical for authentic Vietnamese food to be FRESHLY cooked all around!
Service was courteous and our food arrived on time even though the restaurant was pretty empty when we ate.
Our experience at the other location matches this location’s too so we know it is just how they run the business in general.
Good looks is great but the most amazing Vietnamese food is served in small restaurants that do not match this corporate look. If Lá Sen improves their looks-versus-quality-and-amount-of-food approach this could potentially be the most profitable chain ever!
Better than usual variety, much nicer food, at standard pricing for the area. The mixed grill special is a good way to find your favorite protein. Fresh bright flavors. Salad rolls were tight and fresh. So much crispy shallots that I felt like Mom's favorite. I had a Bahn Mi with grilled pork on an earlier visit and it was really good too. Next visit I'm having soup because they seem to do it all well here.
There's only a handful of places in Beaverton/Portland that are as delicious and inexpensive with fast service and an appealing atmosphere. Le Sen has kinda checked all my boxes for a new restaurant. They just need more customers! The restaurant next door probably Stella the limelight but this place is twice as good and half the price. I'm not even done eating their lemongrass chicken and Vietnamese iced coffee as I review! You and your friends will not be disappointed.
