Brugge on North

Brugge on North was an absolute treat. The expert staff prepared an awesome 5 course meal for our party. The goat cheese encrusted in pistachio was delicious, our entrees were perfect and turn familiar favorites into a brand new experience. The atmosphere was really cool, it felt like we walked into the best kept secret in Pittsburgh. Go!

We live nearby and really, really want to like it here. We keep trying. Not happening yet. It's one of those places that is trying to be "upscale gourmet" meaning every dish has some odd or unexpected ingredient (do we really need to put jam on chicken wings)? Their mussels are great, though the whole point of the mussels is to get really awesome bread to dip in the broth and the bread is a small portion for this porpose ... and not very great at all. We hope they survive long enough to reconsider the menu.

Delicious food. Abstract service. Happy hour is only if you sit at the bar.

Absolutely delishous.... we went for a late lunch but they were still having Brunch and we got the chicken and biscuits. The chicken is so crispy and juicy, the flavoring amazing, and the gravy was to die for... I would definitely go again

Great cocktails, great food, great wait staff. Never had a bad meal at any of the "Brugge" restaurants. My first time visiting Brugge on North. I think it is my favorite now!
