Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse

Food was good. The service, not so much. Once the waiter heard we were there for Restaurant Week, he abandoned us and did not bring the "Special" medallions for us to get the meats; We had to get them from the hostess. The gauchos were very attentive and pleasant. This was definitely a "one and done" place for me.

My husband and I decided to try Fogo out during Restaurant Week 2019. It was easy to reserve a table via Yelp. The service was exceptional. When we were first seated and through the first part of our meal, we noticed the table was a little wobbly. I guess it got attention from the manager because he came over, apologized profusely, and seated us at a new table immediately. He was so kind and got us new plates, new silverware, and everything. I really appreciated how he went above and beyond to take care of us.

The salad bar was delicious and I especially enjoyed the cold meats and pickled vegetables. The meat was also delicious. Being it RW, we did not have the prime meats, but the meat we did taste was delicious. I recommend trying Fogo de Chão. It’s my favorite Brazilian Steakhouse in Pittsburgh.

The meat was excellent. The salad bar was great too - everything was gorgeous & fresh. The candied bacon near the salad bar was the best we ever had. Service was attentive even though it was a busy night. We loved everything about our dinner!

Fantastic service, the market bar has an excellent selection of fruits, vegetables, salad, soup, meats, and cheeses. We went on half price South American wine night and they were out of the bottle we wanted, which was a bummer. We tried a lot of the meats but I felt most had no seasoning and we're a bit bland. Dessert was fantastic. Overall a fun and unique experience. The wide array of flavors meant I didn't eat a lot before I started to feel full.

Awesome food, great experience and super great service!! First time here and I could not have been more pleased! All the staff including our waitress Emma were beyond pleasant and made us feel right at home. If you’re downtown it is a must stop for dinner. You will not be let down.
