Forbes Gyro

I was craving food and Forbes Gyro exceeded my expections. The gyro was executed perfectly, every bite was a delite. The cheese sticks were so tasty and melted in my mouth. Even the gyro pizza was fresh and the sides super tasty!

Upon arrival the food was just ready to go and was hot when we got it home! Excellent customer service on a Sunday afternoon, when busy! We will be back very soon!

Best gyro I’ve ever had. Lived near and worked in NYC for years and this gyro place is the best. Support your local business!!! This is the place to be for those post-class munchies.

This place deserves a positive review. Usually Turkish platters are on the pricier side in other parts of Pittsburgh. But this shop manages to offer very good quality authentic Turkish food at a reasonable price. I often try their mixed grill platter ($16) and that item could easily cost me at least $10 more in other mediterranean restaurants in Pittsburgh. They also have some cheap gyro+fries+drinks options under $10 during lunch (and probably available at other times too). They sell 10-12 flavors of Hershey's ice cream scoops and milkshakes. I love their food. But this place is just like a shop, not like a restaurant where you would like to dine in with 10 other friends and family. I guess they focus on providing tasty food at a student friendly budget. They are also among the only few options for Halal food around the campus.
