Went for dinner to celebrate mother’s birthday. Inside it’s a elegant beautiful restaurant. Server was very friendly just took a very long time to come back throughout the night. Started with calamari different from other calamari wasn’t that great but we got a free appetizer card so that worked out well. Server recommended shrimp scampi and it did not disappoint. It was excellent. Mom get a free birthday dessert as well. Overall excellent food just wish service didn’t take so long.
Sunday buffet is really good. Plenty of selection, high quality, friendly staff. Reservations recommended, especially for big parties. Bring an empty stomach and plan plenty of time for many courses.
The Sunday brunch was unbelievable. The setting is gorgeous, elegant, and quiet and the display and selection of food is amazing. I am not particularly a donut fan but the donuts from the donut machine are so fresh and delicious that it was hard not to eat a dozen, but then there would not have been enough room for all the other scrumptious food. The desserts are especially tasty, whereas most places they look a lot better than they actually turn out to be. The service was impeccable as well. I can't praise it enough.
Positively fabulous! I love trains and train stations. This renovated blast from the past is such an elegant atmosphere to make your way from one station to the next of their marvelous buffet. This is no ordinary brunch buffet. There's everything from scrambled eggs, homemade biscuits and sausage gravy to shrimp, mussels, and 4 or 5 different types of salmon - hot and cold! Donuts fresh from the grease with an entire table of options for topping. And, we were seated by a window looking out on the river, train tracks and an old train car. We hated to leave, but we had tickets to the game. And the service was right in line with the food and the atmosphere! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!
