Tupelo Honey

The food was very good. The biscuits are amazing & proceeds go to a great cause (employees who need assistance). The fried green tomatoes, Brussels sprouts, & fried chicken were also wonderful. According to friends, the shrimp & grits and waffles were also good.

Service was friendly and good. The bone in chicken was difficult to eat, so I'll probably go with something else next time. I look forward to returning to try more menu items.

My husband surprised me and took me here for our date night! The location is good. The service was great. The food was pretty good. I had the fried green tomatoes…..the grits that comes with them was phenomenal (the tomatoes a little bland). My husband had chicken with greens and macaroni and cheese. He said the chicken was decent, the greens were good but the Mac and cheese needed a little bit of help. Overall it was a great experience and I definitely plan on going back!

Even though my girlfriend and I had this as takeout, it was still delicious. One entree was good enough for the both of us. The biscuits were amazing. The chicken and waffles had a nice balance of crispiness and softness from the waffles. The home fries were also great but a little burnt. However that just added some crunch. Overall, great foods! I'm sure it would have tasted nicer had we dined in.

A great new restaurant in Pittsburgh! If you are looking for some good southern food in the Burgh, here it is! Amazing grits, great fried chicken, chicken and waffles are amazing. The biscuits with butter and blueberry jam, definitely recommend! And the sweet potato bisque, yes, get that too! 7 of us ate there, all ordered different things and everyone was more than pleased! Great to have this option in Pittsburgh!

I've been looking forward to this restaurant going in for months! We got brunch there the other day and it exceeded my (already high) expectations. Our waiter was so nice and attentive and the staff created a positive environment. I ordered the southern omelette and my boyfriend ordered the chicken and waffles - both were delicious! The interior design is so chic and the experience overall made you feel like you were transported to a Tupelo Honey in the Carolinas. The perfect addition to the food scene in Pittsburgh - and just what station square needed! 5/5 star experience and a must visit.
