Holy Mother of God, is this place fabulous. Owned by the same chef who owns Cure, this place is truly fine dining. While the decor is casual, the food is absolutely stupendous. My favorite Pittsburgh eatery.

Superb meal. Definitely splurge on the tasting menu. The selections were perfect and well worth the price. An excellent choice for a birthday celebration.

It is difficult to describe the amazing flavors and concepts at Morcilla. Nothing disappoints and those that are adventurous are well rewarded with a complex, yet light, dance of flavors and textures. In addition to the world class foods, the service is second to none with every wait staff member willing to take orders, the staff being proactive about allergy inquiries, and the most attentive (but not pushy) wait staff I've ever had. This is an extremely pleasant experience. My one warning is that it is loud, and there is not a lot of room so tables are close together (and reservations are recommended, although easy to get for a weekday). That being said, it will be completely worth it.

Excellent spot in Lawrenceville. Wide variety and very delicious options. Not personally a fan of the in house cured meats but overall, really excellent. Great cocktails, great service.

I went here on my birthday and had a fantastic experience. The server, Chelsea, helped us determine what a good combination of plates would be for us. Each plate was delicious, and the drinks were just as good. By the end, they even surprised me with a birthday dessert that was a delight! After the experience my fiancee and I had here, I can't wait to come back with others.
