Very authentic Irish/English pub feel. Love that they always have football on and get the best games from Europe. Perfect place to get good beer and watch Champions League on a Saturday
This was a lot Better when it first opened. The pub feel is there but a lot of American style food with a solid selection of ales. The menu hasn't changed much..burgers and breakfast are Best.
This place has good beer and food. The food isn't top quality and could have more English food dishes. But the food is hearty and will fill your stomach especially if you're just on the south side for drinks.
We love the Pub Chip Shop next door and finally got to try Piper's Pub and now we love them both! It's a small space so it gets pretty loud when it's busy, but the food is so good and the staff is very friendly. We took our twin toddlers for dinner with friends and the staff was so nice about them, even when they got a little restless. We love the food, my husband discovered he can get vindaloo sauce to dip his fries in and it's his new favorite thing. Their fries are the best and their burgers are excellent.
One of my favorite unique restaurants in the whole of Pittsburgh. It's not every day you can get a varied assortment of UK inspired dishes in Pennsylvania. The savory "pies" are warm and filling, the Yorkshire puddings and various tube meats delicious. I recently tried one of their newer burgers- and it was honestly one of the better burgers I've ever had...anywhere.
Add in a plentiful drink menu, a really outstanding weekend brunch, and an always lively (and unsurprisingly loud) atmosphere with soccer on the bar televisions- and what else could you ask for to have a truly great and off the beaten path dining experience in the "Paris of Appalachia"?
