Where to start. This is the greatest hole in the wall you will ever find. It's an unfinished garaged with the best Italian food in the Pittsburgh area. The gnocchi is light, tender and flavorful and you get a salad and fresh, homemade bread. I've driven by this place for years and finally tried them 2 weeks ago and have been back 4 times since. The owner and staff are friendly. Don't be turned off by the interior because you will miss out on great food at an awesome price. It's BYOB and cash only.

Nice little restaurant I just heard about, great homemade bread with dipping oil which you can modify to your taste with fresh graded cheese and a crushed red pepper mixture ????️. House salad was great with crumble blue cheese ????. Gnocchi was excellent with a meatball. Very lite, not like gnocchi that I have had before, normally too heavy. Might have liked a meat sauce a bit more. Owner very nice ???? and helpful. And was kinda neat sat at the counter with the owner and another customer, like we all were old Friends talking about whatever ????. Only reason why I didn't give them 5 star ???? review was because not much atmosphere at all ????. Will be back for sure ????

GOODNESS❤❤❤ The BEST Italian food ever!!! Everything is Fresh and home-made (you can feel the love in it!) Home made bread fresh daily! Good just like Grandma used to make - and from Italy! If you're into aesthetics, this isn't the place for you, BUT, if you want to feel like a part of the family and great food, then THIS is the place for you! You won't be sorry!

To start off, BEST HOLE IN THE WALL RESTAURANT EVER. This is the kind of place you find on the TV show “diners, drive-in’s, and dives”. The entire restaurant is essentially in a garage, and it feels like you are sitting in the middle of a garage sale. There are items and utensils everywhere surrounding you, and a collection of mismatched wine glasses that would make even goodwill proud. But if you stay long enough to overlook the initial appearance, you’re in for a treat. You will come to LOVE how the place looks and feels.

Claudio himself greets you from behind the bar/counter/kitchen area, and soon he is handing you your paper plate to eat off of. Its an awesome mix of authentic Italian, without paying the insane price. Claudio really tries; He sets out candles, gives you nicely folded black cloth napkins, and plays old school Italian music. The bread is amazing, the pizza is great, and the prices are even better.

You can tell Claudio is a part of the community as well, as he greets most customers by name and gives a lot of them a hug on the way out.

    What a pizza joint!

UPDATE: Went back and tried the pasta. It is even better than the pizza. It is literally 5 star Italian dining.
