“Wowsers !!!! Upon walking in, I stopped and just took it all in . It is beautiful ..... Literally a work of art. The lighting is magnificent . Mirrors everywhere. The selection and variety of anything imaginable having to do with smoking plus gifts I was like HOLY SMOKES !!! Pun intended ;) I can't wait to go back !!!!! “This is the most promising food spot in Carrick since I moved here 15 years ago. Seriously some of the best tenders I've ever had. They are fresh, moist, and perfectly breaded. Just beware that even the "plain/southern style" tenders are still a little spicy. The waffle fries are also great, as was the cole slaw, if not slightly too heavy on the mayo. I was even a big fan of the hot honey garlic sauce. All in all probably the best meal I've had out of this neighborhood. The prices aren't bad either. I hope they stay for a long time, unlike several previous businesses along this stretch of Brownsville Rd.”

“I walked in to order a delivery shortly before they closed. I felt welcomed & took little time to order. The pizza and wings arrived quickly & still hot. The pizza toppings were fresh and the crust was crispy yet soft inside. The wings were cooked perfectly, the best in the area in my opinion! They were gone too fast to get a pic. lol Prices are comparable to other restaurants in the area. The staff and delivery driver were all very nice. It was a hit with my teens as well. This spot is definitely a new fave.”

“This business is new to our neighborhood. I certainly have been to other Jersey Mikes before and this this one stacks a little higher. Staff was courteous and made our Italian subs perfectly. “Based on what I ordered (delivery), I liked the taste. I ordered a Margherita pizza and garlic parm wings. Just a small feedback - feta on the margherita is not mentioned in the menu and should be optional. The amount of feta cheese was a lot on my pizza, basically I was not able to enjoy the mozarella because of feta in every bite. Also, almost every slice of the pizza had big basil in it (please see picture). That's too much of both basil and feta. If you can add burrata cheese as extra/optional that we can pay for, it would be amazing. Still, I would rate it 5 stars because of the taste. Liked the wings as well.”

“New spot for Venezuelan food. I was a little disappointed but it's just one of their first few months in business, so I may give them a shot again later. I tried the 'one of each' empanada combination: one chicken empanada, one shredded beef empanada, and one cheese empanada. My favorite out of the three was definitely the beef empanada. The meat was tender and had the perfect texture. It was flavorful and juicy, crispy, and overall great. I would recommend probably just getting 3 beef empanadas rather than a sampling since it was far better than the others. The chicken was still pretty good. It wasn't as flavorful and juicy as the beef but still not bad. The chicken was milder, and it went really well with the side sauce. Now, my least favorite and the one I would almost definitely recommend skipping is the cheese empanada. I'm usually a huge fan of cheese, but this was just extremely underwhelming. It was way, way too greasy and had almost no flavor at all. No spice, no garlic, no anything. Not worth it. The empanadas themselves are all made from corn. So, they are a bit crunchy and hard. I'm not the biggest fan of the corn, and would prefer a softer empanada like at Mi Empanada. The sauce they served these with was awesome. A tad creamy and super tasty. All in all, maybe this place needs some more time to establish themselves. They do have some cool items like golfeados and arepas, but the empanadas were underwhelming. If you do come here, try the beef empanada.”
