“Combined a scoop of edible chocolate chip cookie dough with scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was Sunday at 5ish and very quiet in town so we sat on the bench outside of Cookie Dope and ate our treats. Cost $15 for the two of us to grab dessert there. Several choices of cookie doughs to select from in order for it to be bit different than other ice-cream places. The cookie dough made the cost worth it to try something new tonight. The young woman working today was super kind.”

“The decor of the shop was very warm and cozy. The employees were very nice and friendly. They greeted us as soon as we came in and waited for us to look at the menu before ordering. The food and drinks were just okay. I got avacado toast which were just three little pieces of toast with a bit of mashed avacado and a bit of seasoning. The pumpkin bread was good but it would be better if they warmed it for you. The macarons and chocolate donuts were good but not stored at the proper temperature so I'd recommend letting them sit to come to room temperature for best enjoyment. The energy balls were good but the flavor was a little off. I think it just might be I prefer mine made with a different type of peanut butter. My chai tea was bland in flavor but my spouse said his coffee was very good. I will probably come back when it's warmer out to try their smoothies and other food items to get a better idea of what good to get here.”

“I visited this bakery with my nephew and we both got the mango coconut drink. It was outstanding!! My nephew said it was the best drink he ever had. I also bought a bunch of baked goods and they only lasted 5 minutes after I took him back home...ha ha. I kept the lemon and chocolate desserts for myself and they were excellent. The two fellas that own the shop were very nice and knowledgeable about all the different items. I'd say they are food artists. Chillin' in the cafe sipping one of their drinks is very relaxing too. I will be back there many times.”

“The buttery is an absolute staple in our household. If we’re ever craving baked goods we end up here. In fact, post moving to the USA, I’d say the buttery is our most visited food location. To say we like the buttery would be an understatement. We’ve been regulars here (we know them but they don’t know us) since 2019. The buttery took us through the pandemic, providing a fix for our sweet tooth cravings and post the pandemic we find ourselves regularly there on weekends. Go to the buttery you won’t be disappointed. Everything looks incredible and it’s all on glorious display. Pick up an almond croissant, a slice of quiche and a coffee. Life rarely gets as good.”

“Very nice establishment. We’ve been coming here since they started out as a roadside stand. It’s amazing to see how far they’ve come. They sell a little bit of everything, including produce, baked goods, meats, Amish craft items, and even sheds/other structures. There’s also other outside businesses that rent space inside, including photo restoration and a doll hospital. My family particularly loves Merv’s BBQ. Though they’re best known for their chicken, all of their items are delicious, so make sure you try them all! Sadies pretzels are also phenomenal! Great for a quick snack. They now also have a little grille restaurant with seating. And though I will admit that some of the prices are a little high (particularly for produce and baked goods), I understand that they have a big building and lots of staff to pay for, so they need to make their money. All in all, I would highly recommend checking it out if you’ve never been.”
