“Amazing food every time I’ve gone. Lovely variety of salsas ranging from mild to VERY spicy. Nice staff and clean dining area. Very flavorful food that WILL clear your sinuses. One gender neutral, customer only restroom (that is very clean). The restaurant is non-accessible for wheelchairs. The bathroom is non-accessible for strollers and does not contain a changing table.”

“We dropped by for the Saturday Brunch. The food was uniformly excellent. My wife had a wonderful omelet, my breakfast baguette was fantastic. Our grandkid had pancakes with bananas and bourbon caramel sauce. The service should have been better. The woman was nice and friendly, but oh so slow. We spent an hour an a half in the restaurant. It took ages to get the check because she spent that long gabbing with a coworker. So if you are in Harrisburg on Saturday, you want some really good food and a lot of time to kill, this is the place to go.”

“The food is excellent. I would reccomend the mussels and crab soup for the appetizer. The balance in flavour is superb , its not too heavy either. For the main course the pink salmon was perfectly blackened. The sweetness of the cream complements the rice which has a hint of lime, perfectly.”

“It was Halloween weekend so many were in costume. The place is small but has a cool atmosphere. They play a variety of music genres for the 1960s-1990s. I had a Lager and sweet baby Jesus but my table had an assortment of hard alcohol and mixed drinks. The food there is good not the best but very good for the price (reasonable cheap) I appreciate that we weren't messed with despite the oldest of my group being only 28. This pub definitely attracts a more mature crowd (I'd say at least 30+)”

“Absolutely love Bacco- it’s a must-visit in downtown Harrisburg!! I’ve been going with my boyfriend consistently since we moved to the area, and we love the food, service and atmosphere here. The Happy Hour specials are THE BEST- I highly recommend coming here after work during the week with friends. On weekends, there’s always a great crowd at the bar. John at the bar is amazing- he’s such a knowledgeable bartender and foodie. I can’t say enough good things!”

“My husband by ourselves or with friends and family have been coming here for years. The shop is intimate and cozy with window nooks and pillows and fur. In warmer weather there are cafe tables outside. It is very convenient to the Harrisburg Symphony and Open Stage and the Gamut Theatre and State Museum and Whitaker Center for example. We stop in for a dessert crepe and coffee or tea after a show or between meals after a museum visit. We go for lunch or dinner before a show and get a savory crepe/salad and a dessert crepe plus a drink for 1/2 the price of a meal at other restaurants and although it feels like time slows down a bit at Au Bon Lieu, the timing of the service is perfect and we always get to the show on time!”
