“My wife and I have been going to the Longhorn Steakhouse in Lancaster since it opened. We have brought guests here for dinner and have always had a great experience with both staff and food. On Saturday, May 4th, that former great experience experience turned into a major disappointment. Drinks and appetizers came out quickly. The chili and mushroom appetizers were hot and delicious. The first loaf of bread was warm, soft and yummy. It went downhill for me when my main entree arrived. I ordered the 12 oz. Sirloin steak medium well...it arrived medium rare and cool to the touch. My loaded baked potato was anything but hot. Normally, I would have asked for the manager, but did not wish to make an issue as my guests and wife seemed pleased with their food. The second loaf of bread came to the table hard and seemingly stale, or it had been microwaved way too long. The waiter was great and both the guests and I complemented him on his service and personality. I will of course go back to try again. I write this to remind the kitchen staff and chefs to double check the orders before they are delivered to the guests.”

I have been to this location and the Allentown location quite a bit. I highly recommend coming to any of the locations. They have a huge menu that is full of amazing food. I have never got anything at this place that is bad.”

“Solid Thai dining experience. We were in Lancaster late one evening and found this place based upon the many positive reviews on Google and other sites. Gave it a try - and glad we did. The food was very good - and we ordered several different items between all of us, including a couple of different appetizers. Everything tasted fresh & flavorful. We did have to request additional hot pepper spice because they seemed to prepare the food more on the mild/tame side, but that's better than over spicing it. The service was pretty good as well. They were attentive to our waters and beverages, and were friendly & fast. The ambiance is okay - it's in a strip mall, so they are making the best of it, but it could use a little more character. One last positive note - it was open until 10pm or so on a Friday evening, which worked for us because we were looking for a late dinner. Lots of places tend to close up between 8:30-9pm, so it was appreciated that they were open later.”

“I really appreciate the grilled chicken avocado sandwich that I had yesterday. I'm actually not a huge avocado person, but I think I can become one after such a good meal. The server was fantastic, I asked for no ice and she delivered. Our food was brought together (so no one was awkwardly waiting to eat), and the app sampler was good too. I'd recommend this place very much.”

“Being that it's not in a traditional restaurant environment, I worry Gypsy Kitchen sometimes gets overlooked. That is to the loss of anyone who overlooks it. Their weekend evening dinners are a date destination. I had the Prime Rib and it's one of the best Prime Ribs I've ever had. Ever. The chef was attentive to our table, coming personally to each table. He also happens to be the owner, so you know his care and concern that you truly enjoy your meal is as genuine as it can be. As an added bonus, I like a BYOB place for a nice dinner. I can focus the money on the food they are preparing and the tip to the wait staff who is serving me. AND I can get a higher price point wine to enjoy with my excellent meal. There was nothing on my plate that disappointed, and looking at the menu ahead of time allowed our table to bring 3 or 4 bottles of wine that would pair perfectly with our anticipated order. Don't sleep on Gypsy Kitchen. This should be near the top of your list if you haven't yet tried them.”

“Have been enjoying LDC since it's begins in 1978. The Victorian atmosphere and character is captivating. The variety of the menu is amazing . Food is wonderful. Selection of beers is well rounded as is the liquor. I moved from Lancaster several years ago but still come back to visit for our daughter and grandchildren live here and we always make a stop to LDC its became a family tradition. Many great memories . So glad to see it is back in it's glory after the fire .”
